Great experience. Hotel was well located to enable exploration of the city on foot. I did not purchase the breakfast but was graciously allowed to get coffee in the morning to start my day. The rooftop bar was also a great place to end the day.

This old girl is in need of a touch-up and a bit of maintenance to be honest. The main lobby is beautiful but only one working elevator for 17 floors is not acceptable. Our room, too, had issues with a running toilet. Maintenance came and "fixed it" but it had the same problem shortly afterward despite my best efforts. The whole mechanism frankly needed replaced. There was also chipped plaster and paint in the bathroom. The shower was excellent with lots of hot water and good pressure. Cannot say the same about the supplied shampoo and body wash which seemed like they were watered down as they had no lather. I have had the same issue in other Accor properties however. The final insult was the to-go breakfast on the last morning, for which i paid full price as they would not refund me when we discovered that we had to leave prior to the weekend breakfast hours. A slice of pound cake and a lukewarm cup of coffee with no milk or creamer available - frankly pathetic. The regular breakfast however was the usual Accor fare, so pretty good. Staff, however, were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The gentleman who checked us in was particularly helpful and gave us several excellent suggestions. Location is very convenient near the subway and within walking distance of lots of great food options and nightlife. The evening doorman ensures that you can come and go in the evenings safely.

The hotel is reasonably clean and well located near the center of the city, the staff was friendly and courteous. However, as the husband and caregiver of my disabled wife, I have to say that the hotel is poorly equipped to accommodate disabled guests to the point of being downright dangerous. For example, the shower laked grab bars, infact there were no grab bars anywhere in the bathroom. The floors are very slick and slipper when wet. In spite of the fact that I had requested a wheelchair accessible room when we booked, we were told that none were available only upon check-in. I suspect that they simply don't have any accessible rooms. I had requested a shower chair repeatedly and finally received one the last evening of our 4 day stay. Apparently there is only one for the entire hotel and it could not be located. In the shower there was only a fixed shower nozzle and not a single washcloth available. No shower gell or soap in the shower. The shampoo dispenser was broken, Etc, etc. The bottom line is that if you or any of your travel party are disabled I would suggest staying in a newer hotel that is equipped to accommodate people with disabilities or at least one that is open and honest about their ability to to provide needed accommodations.
