We chose to stay at Home Hotel because of the location. We were in Taiwan to attend a wedding and it was just amazing. Before I even checked in, I had contacted the hotel to make sure we had an iron to use. They also helped me make a hair appointment. Every day the staff had been amazing and helpful. Especially with helping us book taxis. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate their hospitality. Truly one of the best experiences I've had with hotels' customer service. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back again.

The location of this Hotel is superb as it is only one block away from Taipei 101 and the Mitsukoshi Shopping Complex. You will never run out of things to do! The rooms are clean and spacious, and their beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet can use a better selection of breads and some bacon. The bar on the ground floor offers a good selection of drinks and live lounge music. The only downside to the location is that it is right smack beside possibly the hippest bars in Taipei. The noise generated by all this activity will definitely keep you awake at night. To avoid this, MAKE SURE to get a room on the SongRen side of the hotel away from the other end. Just request the staff on check in and they will surely accommodate you. Great Job, HomeHotel team. We really enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is not what is states. Make sure to read the reviews. Although the location OK, it was right next door to a lounge/bar. All night I was listening to thumping of music. The towels were stained. The bathroom was not clean. Also, the front staff who checked us in (although very nice and pleasant) forgot to give our passports back after checkin in. We ended up only staying one night and not five and got charged one night penalty (ridiculous)!! I would NOT recommend this hotel unless you like listening to base all night long.

This is definitely NOT a four star hotel - perhaps it will help to manage your expectations before booking. The room is ok, clean with good bathroom amenities (shower/bathtub and heated toilet seats). I read someone mentioned the AC is somewhat fixed at 22 degree Celsius - seconded it. It has a very unhealthy fixation on 22 for some reason. The main issue we encountered was the location. Yes it was very near to malls but it is even nearer to bars that blast music at night. I'd say if you are in Taipei for the night life maybe this hotel would be heaven for you, but normally guests would want to REST in the hotel, so this is an awful location with woefully inadequate sound proofing in my opinion. And we stayed on a decent level (10) which should be further away from the noise but nope. In the morning you'd be treated to a confetti of floor art featuring "drank-too-much-and-will-share-the-drinks-I-had-with-floor" and "decorate-them-with-little-orange-and-white-sticks".
