I only have positive feedback about the property. The service is great, we stayed 5 nights, the staff was always greeting with a smile, they are very polite and friendly. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The whole property is atmospheric and beautiful. The location is perfect to visit places on foot or by public transportation. Will definitely stay again!!!

We had a family trip in this hotel. The location was great. The breakfast itself was good. The service could be better especially during serving the breakfast. We booked two family rooms. The rooms we booked were not as we expected. We had specifically issues with the bathroom in both rooms. The drains in the shower were all clogged. The toilet smells bad which I believe was because of old piping. The rooms are not sound proof and you will hear Istanbul's night life until 3:00am. The avenues toward the hotel were all slopped which makes it a little bit hard if you have specific issues with knees and backs. In conclusion, I would say it's going to be a great choice for a young couple. But do not recommend it for a family or group trip.

Really smart and well presented hotel in the bustling Galata area. Rooms are clean with excellent bed linen and towels refreshed daily too. Lovely interiors too being a historic building. Staff were very warm and welcoming and willing to help when I was having issues with the air conditioning. The only thing that lets it down is the quality of the breakfast. Very disappointing considering the wonderful views from the rooftop terrace. The selection of continental items are low quality and seem random. It'd be much better if they offered a-la-carte breakfast. If you do stay here, do not book breakfast with your room as there are so many better places to have breakfast in the city.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel during my visit to Turkey, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's traditional and quaint style beautifully embodies the essence of Turkey. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the iconic Galata Tower right from the rooftop, and the convenience of being so close to Istiqlal Street. What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the incredible staff, especially Yilmaz at the reception and Umar from the rooftop restaurant. They were not only helpful but also exceptionally friendly, making me feel right at home. The warmth and hospitality of the team added a personal touch to my stay that I will always remember. The breakfast offered at the hotel is nothing short of excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options that cater to various tastes. It's the perfect way to start your day and explore the city. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. It's a hidden gem that combines tradition, comfort, and the best of Turkish hospitality. My stay here made my trip unforgettable, and I can't wait to return.

Nice View I (Some of them) Nice Staff I Disappointing Incidents I As good as your money View is amazing and prices are a bit expensive but acceptable. Beware; they take %xx extra automatically as table charge. Some of the staff are amazingly kind while others treat you according to the ammount of your spending. Lets go to the details: It is rude to say "follow me follow me" and throw your customer away to someone else when they are kindly complaining. This goes for the bald person at the greeting. It is obvious that he and some others are treating customers according to how much they spend. I asked for a table near heater since I was to drink a glass of wine with my wife. Pretty girl at the welcoming at the terrace was kind and helped me. However table had no light; ı asked for one (for pictures) and answer was "If we have a spare one you will get one!"... I stole the one from departing table which made the waiter furious apperantly. When leaving I was happy with good wine warm seat and amazing view. I tried to explain this wrong attidude to the greeter officer at the entrance; the bald one. After short listening he decided to throw me to someone else with amazinly rude attidude. At menu extra %10 is written with tiny words; cant read it without lights obviously. Overall I had plans to come breakfast tomorrow; and spend a couple of days for next visits. All canceled; I wont prefer this hotel ever again.
