We stayed in Colosseum Guest house for 7 nights. The room was really comfortable and the price really affordable in comparison with most apartments in Rome. Well positioned, next to metro & bus station and close to the city centre. The room was cleaned very often (every day cleaning, every 3 days towel change). The host was really polite and gentle with us and the check in was super easy. We recommend it if you want to stay in Rome for exploring it. Okay, as others said, the main street is quite noisy, but it is something expected since you are next to a metro station and very centrally.

What really bothered us was the room itself. On booking it says ‘soundproof rooms’, however we could hear our neighbor’s coughing and more noise from the hallway. The bed was horrible, and that is not an exaggeration. I could feel the springs of the bed trough my back and the pillow was hard. This is not what you want after a full day of walking. The location of the guest house is good. The bus and subway are literally across the street. The check-in went also smoothly. But the backside, and our view, was depressing (see picture). The service was mediocre. We wanted to ask if we could left our suitcases temporarily after check out, but the information numbers on the door were unreachable. We didn’t see any staff. The cleaning was fine, but not extensive. Only the bed was made and the towels were replaced.

So already no human contact while we are told Guest House. You must send a photo of your face with your passport etc. AVERAGE. Explanations OK, easy to find, good location. But if you want to spend sleepless nights go: room 4 seen on the boulevard with the unbearable traffic, the walls are paper so you can hear absolutely everything!!!!! The bed and pillows are terrible. Back and neck pain. Frankly disgusted especially when you spend the day walking. Housekeeping ok, but there was apparently something to repair in the room, we were informed by email but we were not asked for our consent to enter the room. It's better to pay a little more and get a place that's worth it, that's bullshit.

A great choice if you come to Rome and arrive at Termini station, with an excellent location in an area of Rome "away" from the bustling center and with excellent connections. It is located 2 metro stops (literally, since the accommodation is located in front of the SAN GIOVANNI stop) or a 20-minute walk (and thus get to know a little of Rome upon arrival). Once at the accommodation, it is very easy to enter the first time (through an "app"). Once in the room they will have left us the keys for the rest of our stay. The rooms are BIG, COMFORTABLE and CLEAN (the only "downside", the pillows are thin and there are no cushions). There is also a small kitchen for those who prefer to have breakfast/lunch/dinner at the accommodation (a few meters away there are different food supermarkets). As I mentioned before, it has a metro stop in front (LINE C or ORANGE) which takes you to the main attractions of the city (VATICAN, PLAZA ESPAÑA, FONTANA DI TREVI, OPERA...).
