Linda who owns the GH is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Linda is absolutely correct the views are stunning along the cliff path. There are 2 bar/restaurants walking distance, both are excellent. The supermarket sells everything you need which is just down the road. Hermanus is beautiful and Milkwood Lodge I highly recommend. I hired a car and definitely suggest you stay longer than just a whistle stop tour. The whales & seals where in abundance during my stay here. Thank you Linda for making my stay such a memorable one.

Linda at Milkwood was an absolute life saver, as she was 1 of very few venues that could accommodate 2 couples at 9pm at night. The rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. The property offers a swimming and braai area, which is ideal for longer summer stays.

Wow! Linda is such an excellent host,so kind,so welcoming! My family and I visited Hermanus for the first time this past weekend and we stayed at Milkwood Lodge, the place exceeded our expectations! Our cottage was very clean, and it had everything we needed.Our kids were able to run around freely and play. We celebrated our daughter's 2nd birthday at the lodge and it really felt like home away from home. The most impressive thing is the fact that the host is always on the property, she was always ready to assist when we needed help. The cottage was very beautiful, big and clean. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Hermanus, Linda is the best, their breakfast is delicious and she is very patient and understanding because we had special requests for our toddler and she was always willing to help.
