I stayed at the villa for 2 nights (family room and double room). The villa is just gorgeous! The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. The cleanliness, safety and food were superb. The common areas are beautiful. Would 100% recommend to stay for a while. It's less than 5min walk from Grotto Beach, a great restaurant (Dutchie's) and the Cliff Path.

A perfect overnight stay, with 5 star fittings, Spacy rooms with all amenities and very friendly service. Good breakfast. Budget friendly. Position on eastern side of Hermanus with better beaches. Quiet and tranquil.

Superb!! Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and neat premises and close to the beaches. Aurelia and Trevor and all the staff were superb. Would recommend it any time!!

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Whale Coast Ocean Villa. We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown around the facilities. We had a lovely front room which was stylish and comfortable. Breakfasts were great with various choices and friendly, super efficient service. Our host, Aurelia, was such a lovely, warm and friendly person and spent a lot of time chatting about places of interest etc in and around Hermanus. We loved Hermanus and would happily go back there and spend our time at this charming guest house.

Absolutely lovely place to stay while in Hermanus. My partner and I agreed that it was one of the nicest places we have ended up in - we stayed in room 1 which has a great view, was very large, and was clean and comfortable. It is very close to a beautiful beach, a nature park and cliff walk. The staff were very friendly and we would be thrilled to stay again. My only note is that when there is load-shedding, the outside bell doesn't work so we got stuck outside for a little while with no way to access the building. We got in thanks to some other guests who saw us outside, but getting a bell that doesn't rely on grid electricity seems like it could be a good upgrade! Otherwise had such a lovely time, and thank you to the friendly man at the front desk for being perfectly polite and helpful!
