If there is any place which I really want to give a overall 5 star rating, it would be here; unfortunately, I have to remain honest to myself and the rating system. Arrived July 22 for a 5 night stay. Staff: The hotel staff bends over backwards to help their clients in every way possible. Please note, their foreign language skills are limited. The staff usually relies upon a cell phone translations application to facilitate communication for issues other than simple request. Please note, I don’t expect everyone in the world to be fluent in the English language. So I can live with a slight language barrier, it makes the stay somewhat charming. The Staff’s positive attitude, pleasant demeanor and attention to detail made up for any language barrier. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Tremendous kudos to Orhan, Baris, Tugac, Dursat, and Mustafa for all their efforts. Rooms: In Cappadocia, it is vital to manage expectations. After all, we travel to this part of the world to experience history, not to lounge inside a hotel room. Still, the rooms are quaint and well appointed. There was a mini-bar stocked with drinks and snacks. The room also had a small television (which we never used). The cleaning was outstanding. The bed mattress was incredibly soft, which is not to my liking, but I don’t hold this against them. However, if I could change one thing, it would be the foul odor from the bathroom drain pipes. Upon arriving at the hotel (day one) everything was fine, no offensive odor was noted. On our second night, the city of Uchisar experienced a torrential downpour. This is when the odor started and it never went away. I reported it, but the staff said there was nothing which could be done. We mitigated the odor by closing the bathroom door and placing a wet towel over the drain cover. As for the shower, ample hot water was available every night, please note, sufficient hot water is a major problem in most boutique hotels in Cappadocia. Breakfast: In Cappadocia, breakfast can become redundant incredibly quick. The Staff did a tremendous job ensuring breakfast was always fresh and varied. Tugac was the star of the show, her smile was the perfect way to start the day! Location and Ambiance: I enjoy Uchisar more than Goreme because of the superior view. Mimi Cappadocia offers a spectacular view from the terrace. The view from your room may vary depending upon location. Final thoughts, if someone is on a budget and wants quality, Mimi Cappadocia is the place to stay. Yes there are more expensive places to choose in Uchisar, but Mimi gives you everything you need. Service is 5 Star, Price 5 Star, Room comfort is a 3 due to the odor. If this would have been fixed during our stay, the final rating would be 5 stars across the board,

Excellent accommodation in Uchisar, Capadoccia. We have stayed in 2 very large (connected rooms), great breakfast, excellent position for visiting Capadoccia, excellent views from the hotel terrace. Very good communication with the host (we find it online and reserved the rooms via whats up).
