The twin rooms are spacious by Japan standard, even have a double sofa. Public bath on 2nd floor is very handy when its -10° outside. Location wise, its just a quick walk from JR Sapporo station and underground arcade.

Great location close to underground walk to station across the road. Also excellent choice for Dinner breakfast or lunches . Lots of shops for just about anything too. Very close to Sapporo station. Staff at Mitsui garden so friendly and helpful too. I would stay here again!

I stayed here for a couple of days after returning from Noboribetsu. The staff were helpful - I was even able to leave one of my suitcases with them for the days I was in Noboribetsu, even though I wasn't going to check in until I got back. The location is also a huge plus - it is only about a 5 minute walk from the Sapporo Station, making it an easy location to get to. This also gives it the flexibility to go to other areas of Sapporo easily via subway, and it's also about a 15-20 minute walk away from Susukino, Odori Park, ect. The hotel has a tea/coffee lounge on the first floor, accessible after the 3pm check-in time, free for guests. There is also a public bath on the 2nd floor - no towels are provided inside though, so bring one from your room. The room I was assigned was on a smoking floor, and was spacious, the smell of smoke was faint, but noticeable inside. The hallway outside had a much more noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. Amenities aren't provided in the room, except for towels. Toothbrushes, combs, razors, ect., are stored at the lobby and you'll need to grab what you need from there. My bathroom had a bit of an odd smell to it. Decent enough hotel, but maybe try to avoid the smoking allowed rooms if you can (there's a smoking room on the first floor)
