Excellent. The rooms were well-organized and clean, housekeeping was done expertly and the restaurant at level 2 is amazing. With a wide variety of dishes, it is one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever went to. The location is also very convenient as it is just a short walk away from the JR station so therefore connected to other places in Hokkaido. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sapporo for vacation.

Convenient location - Just 5 minutes walk to JR Sapporo Station. Exceptional service - Emailed them a few times before check in with questions and they resolved everything promptly. Check in and check out process is also pleasant with their friendly staffs. Comfortable room - Room is clean and comfortable.

Staffs are really friendly. Rooms are big (compare to a lot of hotels in Japan), breakfast is good and alternative, the pumpkin cheese stew and Hokkaido milk taste so good. We were trying to grab taxi in a rainy day, and the front desk staff were so nice and kind to help us by standing in the rainy windy outdoor. He worked really hard even his umbrella got broken. We got taxi within 10mins in a really busy time. 風雨の中でタクシーを呼んでくれるスタフで、ありがとう！😊 You can purchase packing box at the front desk for 270 yen if you have bought too much snacks like me.

We checked in on 14 October in one of the junior suites, only to find one of the pajamas provided had stains, as well as stains on the duvet cover on one of the beds. It was not a good first impression for my family for our first night. Requested to make up the room the next day and it is better now. We hope the standard of cleanliness can be maintained for the rest of our stay.

We enjoyed our 7 nights stay at Mitsui Garden West. The hotel allows us to place our big luggages with them while we travelled light to outskirt areas like Noboribetsu, Hakodate and Asahikawa. A good hotel to use as a base for us to explore Hokkaido. The beds were comfortable and my teenagers were glad that there were YouTube channel available for them to enjoy at night. The rooms are very quiet and we enjoyed our rest here. By the way, Rokkatei Sapporo Main Store is just opposite the hotel.
