Worst Hotel experience I've ever had. I arrived during a sweltering summer day with temperatures at a scorching 32 degrees Celsius outside. The Victor Hotel presented me with a room on the top floor where they had inexplicably sealed the windows shut, and to make matters worse, the air conditioning was out of order. Mistakes can happen, but what followed was an utter lack of hospitality and disregard for guests' well-being. I approached the reception to request another room or even just a simple fan, but both requests were met with a disheartening "no." I tried to convey that I simply couldn't stay in a room where the temperature matched that of an oven, especially on the top floor with zero airflow. I asked, "What can I do?" Their response was merely to acknowledge the problem and promise to escalate it to a manager in the morning who would arrange a refund. Trusting their assurance, I left the hotel promptly and had to spend an additional £300 out of my own pocket to secure accommodation elsewhere that same night. Morning arrived, and I called The Victor Hotel as agreed. However, their promise turned out to be empty. They told me they would "sort it out" and promised to call me back, but no such call ever materialized. The Victor Hotel's service is nothing short of appalling. The indifference displayed towards guests' comfort, the false promises made, and the complete absence of follow-through on their part were deeply disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Charming little hotel with great staff. We were able to easily get to Victoria station to travel around we were walking distance from many points of interest. Rooms were comfortable if a bit small. Great service bringing fresh towels and cleaning each day. Hotel was quiet and secure.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Last month, I had an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel during my vacation. I had meticulously planned my trip and booked a room well in advance, only to arrive at the hotel after 10 hrs flight to find out that they had given my booked and paid room to someone else. I told the reception (Silvija) that this kind of negligence is unacceptable and I will be writing this review here. The hotel's staff did not handle the situation well, the alternative hotel and room they found was basically a lower star hotel with a room that looked like a storage. This hotel does not honor its reservations, failed miserably in this regard, and I would strongly advise against booking a room here if you want to avoid a ruined stay like mine. Again stay away from this hotel

Friendly staff who were exceptionally helpful. They have unfortunately closed their restaurant after COVID, however the staff were happy to point out some excellent places nearby, which were lovely. The location is fantastic and there are numerous nice restaurants, with Victoria station being a short walk away. The room, although perhaps a tad small for some, was ideal for a short break as it was equipped with free WiFi, coffee, tea and a large flatscreen TV, comfortable bed. The provided toiletries were excellent and extremely high quality. The entire hotel smelt wonderful and felt very luxurious for the comparatively low price we paid. Would definitely recommend and will come again. It appears that the rennovations some mention in prior reviews have concluded, and thus the area was quite quiet during our stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter, fantastic location, close to Apollo victoria theatre, Victoria theatre and close to London victoria coach station and the London victoria train station too. It’s just had a massive upgrade and rooms are stunning, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, good security for hotel and the price was fantastic for 3 nights. Short walks to all the good tourist locations! Will most definitely book here again! X
