Cons: 1) The hotel pics on agoda does not really look like it is...the lobby was supposed to be the fancy one but turns out it's not. Lobby is at 5th floor shared by other floors and it's super slow. You stay at 3rd floor, have to go up to 5th floor to check out etc. 2) hotel is at one of the old shop lots.. you might miss it because it does not have a building on its own. It had a dodgy vibe 3) check in/out time. First time so far that the hotel check in time was 4pm?! Check out by 11am. 4) WiFi is bad on level 3 - couldn't get a good connection at all so be prepared to use own data 5) room is a bit too small and Crampy for 2 large adults with large luggages Pros: 1) hotel not only close to taipei main station but a lot of eatery and bubble tea below. Very convenient to travel out 2) amenities provided and three pin plug 3) beds are rather bigger and comfy 4) water is hot and pressure is goos TLDR; Great for 1 night stay layover and location is fantastic but I wouldn't stay longer at this place if you care about how the hotel looks (aka old building shared by other stuff) Price was about TWD2.8k at the time I booked for a night. Perhaps other branches are better.

The wifi never worked for our two night stay. When I asked the front desk they said to try one of the ten other Wi-Fi’s. None worked during our stay which was annoying to say the least. The towels had holes in them, the drapes were really dirty and the flooring was less than desirable. I counted nine signs in the bathroom, most threatening to charge you for things. Room was very small, convenient location but that is about all. The a/c never got our small room to the stated temperature on the remote.
