Do not stay here. Karaoke on the next floor is so loud that you can hear each individual word. Doesn't finish until after 3 am. The ear plugs provided don't help against the banging bass. I don't know if the karaoke moved in after the hotel, but it is simply not ethical to have a hotel with such a terrible noise problem. I wouldn't stay there for free.

Good location, MRT, 7-11 and Family Mart is around, with a lot of shopping shops around. Toilet and Beds are good and clean, Staffs are super helpful too, but KTV and Clubhouses are around, not easy to sleep as it’s surrounded with KTV music. If you are an easy wake up person, this hotel is not recommended, else you will complain a lot, I’m sure.

MyHotel in Taipei is an incredible place to stay. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your every need is met. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring the city. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to popular attractions and delicious dining options. Subway is just outside. FamilyMart and 711 at the back. Mall at the other side. Zara, Watsons just literally outside. There's a nightclub below it though. MyHotel truly lives up to its reputation as a great hotel in Taipei!

The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great. I like the amenities in the bathroom and the quantity of mood lighting. The men/ male staff members I interacted with spoke enough English for me to check in and check out quickly and conveniently. The owner is also very friendly and worked efficiently, as expected. I liked that there was a TV that had YouTube setting, a mini fridge with 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee, mugs and a kettle. I also appreciated that check out was late (12pm) and the cleaners didn't come knocking until 3pm (I didn't hang the Do Not Disturb sign on my door.) I also did laundry there and liked that they had baskets to use. As for cons, it was clean but there were a few stains on the table, the shower floor, the pillow case and an iron burn mark on the floor. The shower curtain was a bit mouldy, too. The walls and doors are thin so you can hear conversations and love making, and because of the amazing location, you can hear hustle and bustle as well as music from the club downstairs. This didn't bother me though, as I like house music and it's likely quieter at the very end of the hall where my room was. Overall, a very pleasant stay! I typically stay in multiple person hostels so cons aside, this was particularly luxurious for me.
