Will not recommend this hotel. But go ahead if you do not mind having no space to place your items in the bathroom. They literally catered no intended space to put your basic bathroom necessities(toothbrush, cleanser, or any 1 bottle of your moisturiser or contact lenses solution). For clothes wise, 1 single bar is available to hang your bath towel, and dirty clothes, and new clothes. No hanger behind the bathroom door, literally no other space to be putting your clothes. If you do not mind, you may resort to putting your clothes on the closed toilet bowl cover. Of which, it will be wet from your shower, due to no partition or segregation of the shower and the toilet space. The heater part in the shower(right beside the on and off handle) was beyond burning to touch, I can’t imagine if someone had accidentally touched it and scalded themselves. Talk about basic safety in the bathroom? I stayed here for 7 nights. One of the nights I came back and to my horror, the bed was not made at all(I had asked for housekeeping service as per I did every morning). I am not sure about this professionalism and shortchanging of service for the money I paid. Room necessities were really very cheap. From the bedroom slippers(made of paper), to the paper cups, to having no chair at all in the room, to having no full body mirror at all in the room. Let alone a full body mirror, you will only be getting 1 mirror which is in the bathroom. You will not be having any second mirror in the room. Putting an honest review in hope of people not spoiling their trip due to having staying in a bad hotel. I really, really don’t recommend N285 Insadong hotel. Just spend a few more minutes online, I guarantee you can find a better hotel than this. Choose wisely so as not to spoil your holiday! Especially if you are staying long like me, don’t make the same mistake I did.

We stayed at N285 Hotel Insadong for 3 nights during 22 - 25 October 2023 Pros: 🫶🏻 location just right next to Insadong and Ikseondong Street, very walkable to the palaces around if you like walking! (We walked back from Gyeongbokgung Palace and next day we walked to Changdeokgung Palace. We also walked back from Myeongdong by the Cheonggyecheon Stream. And also walked back from Naksan Park to the hotel.) There is also a CU mart downstairs so it’s very convenient. Plus you can take the Airport Limousine Bus No. 6002 (17,000 KRW per person) to the bus stop Jongno 2-ga which is close by the hotel. You can leave luggage there and walk to Jjimjilbang (Insadong Sauna) where you can relax after the flight while waiting for checking in. 🫶🏻 quiet and clean room We slept really well. Cons: 🥹the room size The rooms reminds us of the rooms in Japan, very compact and all. It’s good if you’re only staying a few days and spending your time there only for sleeping. If you want spacious room this hotel might not be to your liking. 🥹the toilet As already mentioned by other reviewers, the toilet is very, very, very small. Although equipped with Japanese toilet, there is too little partition to prevent the water from flowing and splashing everywhere in the toilet when you shower. Plus too little hanger available so you may have to dress up outside the toilet. 🥹difficult to contact the hotel before arrival It seems like they don’t really have social media so it’s difficult to contact the hotel. In conclusion, we like staying at the hotel but some people might find the cons as mentioned disturbing.

Rooms were clean but double was too small for 2 people. Nowhere to hang towels etc and not enough space for 2 suitcases. Blinds did not keep out the light so was very bright. Aircon turned off and on to regulate temperature, but made me sleep very poorly as was constantly hot/cold. Not very eco - friendly, threw away our soap bar everyday and put out a new one! We also got quite a few bugs in our room somehow, despite using the secure net over the window. Location was great though and quiet even though it was so close to Insadong Street.

Really good 8 night stay in Seoul - in a really great location, near so many major hot spots to visit and good food options nearby. We only got a metro card on the 4th day as so much was within walking distance. It also has Netflix and it’s very clean. However, as other reviews have said, it is impossible to contact them before arriving. We arrived at 1am and I had messaged prior but also thought it would be fine as Agoda highlights their 24/7 check in desk. No one was there but thankfully someone appeared after 15 mins, possibly they can see you on a camera and call someone.
