The hotel is on the second floor of a quite rundown residential building. This appears quite common in Italy that a small section of half dozen rooms in a residential building is converted to a hotel with the reception behind locked door. You will need to talk to the man at ground floor desk to get access. There are vendors and idling people in the neighbourhood who didn’t bothering us. The room is clean and in quite good condition, though a bit small. The hotel manager was helpful and accommodating. The oversized security measures like steel front door with five deadbolts looked scary though we didn’t encounter any issues.

A nice, quiet & quaint hotel in a busy neighbourhood. Located within steps of the Napoli Centrale so it’s the perfect base camp for trips to Pompeii & Herculaneum. The neighbourhood may look sketchy but I never felt unsafe during my stay, coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Ettore is incredibly nice and super helpful with restaurant and sight-seeing tips around the city. The rooms are meticulously cleaned every day and there’s ample shower pressure. A very simple breakfast is provided, but count on eating elsewhere if you have an appetite in the morning.

A fantastic location, and despite the potential noise from the surrounding area, it was rather quiet. The hotel reception staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel smelt clean from the moment you walked though the door. The service was great and the continental breakfast was plentiful to say the least! Absolutely excellent stay at this hotel.
