A calm place with a lovely family. If you are looking for the real basic nepali life, you are right. Fresh food, milk and a beautiful view is a part of this experience. With Shakra you also get a good trekking guide.

Awesome and authentic experience, you will feel immersed into the Nepalese farmer life and will be part of the family. Located at 1,100m of height, you will have views on Phewa lake and the famous Annapurna and Machapuchare ♡. You will get the chance to take part in the daily duties with Chakra and his loved-ones, if you like. No rush, life is slow in the Himalayas. Not convenient for people looking for comfort though, this experience will make you step out of your comfort zone. Thank you Chakra!!

Sometimes on your travel through life you meet people and the memory will stay with you a lifetime,meeting charaka and his family has been a true blessing on my path,and one I will be forever grateful for.a true Nepalese welcome and a true Nepalese way of life,the peace and tranquility of daily mountain life can be experienced here,yes eyerying thing is basic and simplej,unfortunately we westerners have complicated this simple ness with things,things and more things,and are we any happier.?charaks mother wife and daughter are the strongest women i have ever met,they’re beauty shines a light on the world through theire smilestreat yourself to starlight,mountain views,,a prayerful family,laughing children,buffalo milk,and much much more,be back soon charaka to help build that outdoor shower,until then there are are no words to express my thanks and great fullness With love and respect.
