One of the staff at the mid in kuramae hotel, an old man, was very unfriendly when we asked for help sending our luggage via yamato transport, he didn't like us asking for help, he even reprimanded our 10 year old daughter for sitting and talking to her older sister.

Kuramae is a very quiet area and the hotel is just next to the station so it's quite convenient. The reception can speak and understand English, and they're kind and efficient to solve any unexpected problems. Every staff working in this building is very polite. I booked a 'large room', though it's not as big as I expected, the room in general is pretty clean with good-quality facilities. I don't hear any noise from next door during nights so I guess the acoustic insulation is also good. Overall, a good place for one-person-travelling stay. I probably will book again when I go back to Tokyo.

It's convenient as it's right next to the station. The room was a normal business hotel, but it was clean and not old. Since there are no excessive facilities, you can stay at a reasonable price. The slippers in the room are not disposable, so if you are concerned about that, we recommend bringing your own slippers. The area around the hotel was quiet at night. There was also a small 24-hour supermarket right in front, which was convenient. The front desk staff was also very nice, and it was a smooth process to store our luggage before and after our stay.

The location is very good, but the room was not clean. After checking in, I found that there was garbage left behind by the previous tenants behind the curtains. The garbage left on 12/12 was from 11/28. I don’t know how long it had been there. The hotel staff's English was not very good when I was talking to the counter, and communication was poor. After re-cleaning, they put a receipt that was not mine back on the table, which was really dumbfounding🤮

I used it alone. I had a good impression that the building was still relatively new, so it was clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect, right above Kuramae Station on the Asakusa Line. There are restaurants, convenience stores, and drug stores nearby. I also like that the amenities are not scattered around the room (you only get what you need). There was a women-only floor, so I felt safe in terms of security. The interior of the room has no unnecessary decorations or excessive information, and it is a very simple business hotel, but for some reason it is a comfortable and relaxing hotel. There is no better service than cleanliness. The staff are also kind. I want to repeat it again.
