We got a room on the fifth floor where the restaurant is. We heard every movement of every single guest, and we don't even need to mention the pounding of the kitchen staff from 6 in the morning until 2 in the evening. It is not clear to me who came up with the idea of renting out a room in the attic where the restaurant is. The bathroom is small and dirty. Breakfast very poor. The only thing that deserves a star is the location and the very kind guy at the reception.

It's absolutely awful it's like the place has never been cleaned. Dingy little rooms that are out of date air con hardly works and the washrooms are even worse. Staff can't be bothered to give fresh towels or mats and try to rip us off. Please avoid at any cost.

We stayed here for a few nights. Staff were absolutely amazing from reception to the breakfast bunch to the dinner guys. Location was absolutely brilliant close walk to most sightseeing destinations wroth close proximity to three tram if one wants to venture forget afield. Price was very competitive and that's one of the other perks of booking it. I must say the only main thing that lets it down is the room that we had. The smell of dampness just overpowered the room. It emitted from the bathroom. Some of the towels that we got smelt of cigarette smoke. I would probably still book the same hotel if I come back to Istanbul on the count of proximity to amenities and the staff who work there.

Stayed here for a week with family. From our very arrival, the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful - special shout-out to the greeter Ahmed. The hotel itself is situated in a good area close to Sultanahmet Square and the main tourist attractions in the old town. The rooms are well kept, clean and the room service ensures that you're kept topped up with the essentials - including bottles of water. Fast and free WiFi is also included. The staff speak good English which made life a lot easier for myself. I opted to pay extra for breakfast which always had a good variety of food. The hotel also has a classy terrace restaurant which was a treat. On the morning of our checkout, the staff was also extremely helpful in sorting out a last minute taxi transfer for us after an error made by Booking.com. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the old town 👍.
