The place is dirty and outdated. Found many hairs in my bed, the room was missing a curtain and there was loud music outside until 3am. Could hear my neighbours and the elevator through the thin walls. Breakfast was terrible as wel. Staff was also unhelpful. When checking in at 11pm they could not inform us about breakfast or pickup time the next morning. Instead, they called to the room at 6:40 rudely waking us up. At 8am the staff tried to rush us to the bus while we ended up waiting in the bus for 40 minutes before we finally left to the airport.

I spent there several times. I was happy with them. But this time they made me so sad and upset. Cuz i had a group of clients and according to my last experiences i thought they will give some discount to me. I arranged everything according to this. But they behaved so restricted and they charged me 50% more than last time. I didn’t have any other choice so I decided to stay again. But it will be my last time to come this hotel. The staffs are good but the management is so bad. They don’t know how to respect with their old clients to keep them. Next time never i will come here again.

We spent 4 weeks in Newdays hotel. The staff have been exceptional in making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We have been pleasantly surprised by their excellent customer service in so many ways. We felt at home and could achieve so much of the purpose we came to Addis for. The only downside are some of the shops nearby who play music very loudly until 9.30 pm, but other than that, we highly recommend this hotel, it is that good!
