This is literally the worst experience i had in my entire life 0 hospitality and the staff are just looking for money, not even tips they just want money against your will and the room is full of roaches and the staff every one of them give you a different room price Like we know you are getting most of the money in your pockets and not to the hotel Literally my worst experience in a hotel

The stay at this hotel was unsatisfactory. There were persistent power outages during the entire visit, and the manager repeatedly promised it would be resolved in 15 minutes. After 6 hours of subpar service and no electricity, the request for a refund was denied by the manager, Mr. Ilyas, despite previous assurances that a full refund would be given if power was not restored. It is not recommended to stay at this hotel and would definitely not return in the future.

The Yellow Apple is a beauty. We have stayed in different hotels in Addis Abeba and this guest house is one where u feel at home. The rooms and building are great and have an open feeling and this is mostly because of how the rooms and hotel are built, the rooms are big in size (vertical and horizontal), clean and well lighted. The service is also well done, at breakfast the full and scrambled egg was my go to meal and I am picky eater. I can go on and on but mostly what I want to say is that i am very happy with my stay at this hotel.

I am giving one star because I don't have the options of give 0. The staff were offensive and rude. Poor customer service. The General Manager (Elias) insulted my husband infront of me because he assumed I also don't speak Amharic. (Cheap skate - chegaram) The receptionist is untrained on customer handling. They refused to refund my husband's deposit which he paid the day before. They said verbal agreement is binding although it doesnt say irrefundable deposit on any website. Finally they even went back on there word and denied receiving the money. They didn't issue a receipt for the deposit so said we have the rights to deny any knowledge, GM clearly admitted the deposit was made. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and the staff have explicitly made it clear they don't care about our opinion
