Location made it easily accessible to the town No off-road parking facility No service inside just a key left in a box for us which was emailed over explaining the code Left all my make up there and not easy to communicate with to get any of that back Ignored Facebook message when asked if I can go and retrieve items

Claire and John are the most accommodating hotel owners. Our 1st day there John put £1 in the kids games machine in their main lounge for my son and nephew to play. The room was big enough for the 4 of us and the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning with a full English and John even cooked hash browns and beans for our 1 year old son each morning too. We had evening meals in the hotel too a few times and couldn't fault the food at all. We will definitely be returning to the Newburn Hotel it's ideally situated a stones throw from pleasure beach and a short walk from the sea front and south pier.

Shockingly bad. Disgusting rooms. My husband our two children (2) (5) and myself stayed here for one night in August. When we arrived we handed the money over got given the room key and left to find our room. The room was filthy. The wardrobe was falling apart and was dangerous. After the worse nights sleep on the very old mattresses when I tried to give my children a wash there was no hot water and also no breakfast. No one in sight. Luckily there was a weatherspoons around the corner so I could get my children breakfast. This place should be shut down. It's a disgrace. I have since tried to contact the owner but havnt had any response

Myself and daughter booked through expedia.. But they are not acutually advertising through expedia now. So the booking company took my miney without actually booking us a room at Newburn.. So as you can imagine we were a little shocked to be told on arrival that we had no booking.. However Cathy and Claire sorted us a room out. We did have to pay for it but at a reduced rate and i will be contacting Expedia.com for a full refund. The room was lovely. Pure white bedding and plenty of space for us to move about. Great location right next to south pier and the pleasure beach. I'd like to add that they have had to deal with many disgruntled and violent customers because of the non existant bookings being made by certain companies. As much of a shock that it was, They helped us to the best of their ability and did it in a professional manner. I'd stay again 100%. But I'll ne booking directly with the hotel in future. Lol.

Hospitality was amazing. So warm and welcoming. Michael and Carol made us feel so very well looked after. They went beyond what the needed to do to make sure our stay was comfortable. Rooms were clean and tidy. Showers were lovely and powerful. Breakfast was plentiful, hot, and tasty. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos so I apologise however the photos on Booking. Com are a good representation. If you want to stay in a friendly, clean, decent hotel with lovely hosts, stay here. Also, it's a short walk to the South Pier which we weren't that impressed with. We were impressed with Newburn Hotel. Thank you Michael, Carol and team!
