We stayed here in May 2023 and had a wonderful experience. The room was nice, somewhat spacious for 3 people. We had a view of the canal out front. I gave 3 stars on location, but it really depends on what you're looking for. The location is out of the way from most touristy locales but the hotel provides a water shuttle/boat to and from San Marcos Square which made our experience fantastic. The back dock area provides a beautiful sunrise view looking out at Murano. Breakfast was delicious. Depending on what your looking to do in Venice put this hotel as an top option.

My stay at this five-star luxury hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in a serene location away from the usual tourist hustle, it offers a unique blend of tranquility and lavish comfort. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were not just attentive, but genuinely cared about our experience. Whether we needed extra towels or advice on local cuisine, they were always on hand to assist. They went as far as locating my friend’s glove she lost within the hotel. One of the highlights was the hotel’s thoughtful provisions for unpredictable weather - the umbrellas provided were a small but significant touch that added to our comfort. Moreover, the hotel arranged an exclusive boat tour to the enchanting island of Murano. Witnessing the master artisans skillfully crafting Murano glass was a rare and fascinating experience. The hotel’s bar service was equally impressive. The bartender was not just skilled but also very attentive, enhancing our evenings with great drink recommendations. Overall, this hotel is a rare find, offering a perfect balance of luxury, peace, and exceptional service. It’s an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the tourist trails and immerse themselves in understated elegance and warmth.

My wife and I stayed here for the “Venice portion” of our Italy trip for our honeymoon, and I must say, our stay at this hotel exceeded any expectations we could have had. Aside from the hotel and rooms looking absolutely stunning, the staff could not have possibly been nicer, more accommodating, and helpful to us during our time here. I must make specific mention to Martina, who truly went above and beyond for us during our stay. For instance, at about 9:00AM in the morning, I went down to the lobby to see if I could book a gondola ride (WITH the musicians - much less common) preferably on the same day, or the next day if this wasn’t possible. While this in of itself is a very difficult request to fulfill, it was also “All Saints Day”, in where many Italian tourists from all over come to Venice for Holiday. Further, there also happened to be additional complications with the musicians that popped on on the same day. Martina worked diligently behind the scenes, and by 11:00AM, notified me that she got us a ride on the SAME day for 12:00PM! She made it happen in 2 hours! That gondola ride with the musicians was an experience that my wife and I will never forget. Aside from this, she also helped my wife and I get a direct boat ride to Murano, updating/helping us on logistics all along the way. Finally, the location of this hotel seemed to be in one of the most ideal places in Venice - at least for us. It was very scenic and near many great restaurants/bars, but not overcrowded. When we walked around the other areas of the city, I couldn’t help but notice an excessive number of tourists and “tourist-shops”. I found our location to be the best place by far. Overall, this is the place to stay if you are visiting Venice.

What a palace ! What a room we had - wow ! Really feels like Italian aristocracy. Fabulous property. It is located in the very local Venetian residential area - and it’s great. However get ready to walk a lot, but it’s a great pleasure to walk in Venezia. The bell staff is inattentive, the front desk staff are unwilling, not really welcoming, no eye-contact, no smile. It’s a pity. But the palace and the rooms are worth staying ! Also the shuttle boat service is a great touch 👌

I traveled halfway across the world to experience the beauty of Venice, only to encounter an appalling situation at NH Collection - Grand Hotel Plazzo Dei Dogi. Despite our concerns about bug bites in our rooms, the staff rudely dismissed our worries and reluctantly issued a refund when presented with undeniable evidence of bugs infesting our accommodations, as captured in the attached videos. This treatment is far from the stunning and luxurious experience your establishment purports to offer. Disappointed doesn't begin to cover it. I spent over $2,000 rearranging immediate flights out and securing new hotel arrangements for our remaining time in Europe due to the sleepless night and the distressing experience at your hotel. Attached are the videos for reference - videos wouldn’t add on google reviews.. but the bugs were easier to spot on bathroom floor. Attached you’ll see screenshoots of the video
