My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We took advantage of multiple amenities the hotel offered, including a spa treatment, cocktails in the lounge and the complimentary snacks in the pantry. The local toiletries and robes in the room were also appreciated. Beautiful design throughout the property and I loved details like the dollhouse which contained the complimentary tea and coffee for the room. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Location was highly walkable which was appreciated due to not having a vehicle.

Lovely stay here with my partner, perfect for a long weekend getaway. The on-site spa is great - we had treatments from Holly and Suzie who come highly recommended! Staff all friendly and welcoming and the model trajn is an added bonus!

We've just stayed here over Christmas and had the best time. The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't have done more for us. The room was spacious, cosy and clean. The food was incredible and loved the ambience of the bar and restaurant downstairs. We would definitely come back.

Had the loveliest stay here. Absolutely everything was outstanding, can’t fault it. From my first phone call with questions - the team were so attentive. Geoff who met us at the station to whisk away our luggage was so kind giving us directions, Sophie and Susie at the spa worked magic and left us so relaxed! The lovely bar manager talked so passionately about the cocktails and how he made them! Honestly the best experience, the hotel itself is so beautiful and thoughtful but the team made it extra special. Thank you for having us we will be back - to York and other Guesthouses!

Wonderful boutique hotel with stunning communal spaces and very well thought through guest rooms with many bespoke features - beds, panelling and dolls-house tea cabinets all designed for the hotel. Rooms a little small but I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in York. Fantastic and v popular pantry. Only issue was that after working hours there didn’t seem to be a member of staff at the front desk. Not ideal for getting your key.
