You always know what to expect from Hampton by Hilton, no matter which city or country it is located. Perfect. Check-in time at 3 pm, we arrived at 1 pm and didn't expect to have a room immediately, but it was ready for us 🥰 Room is really clean, the beds are comfortable, staff friendly. The location is just perfect, about 5 minutes to walk to Old Town. Breakfast was good as well. There is no parking at the hotel, but, as a guest, you will have a discount for nearby parking, which is within walking distance from the hotel. What else can I say. We just enjoyed our stay and Christmas in York.

We stayed here for 2 nights, we arrived @ 11:30 expecting to just leave our bags and return when our room was ready but the very nice young lady on reception said she had a room ready so we could check in now. The room 312 was spotless, very well equipped and very nicely decorated, it looked as if we were the first to use it. The staff are all very friendly and so polite nothing seemed to be any trouble, the breakfast was good everything for everyone they even had a waffle machine to make your own never seen that before. The location is excellent to explore York. Highly recommended place to stay. Many thanks to all the team @ Hampton but Hilton Piccadilly.

Good brand of hotel in convenient location. Rooms nice size and good choice of breakfast goods included. Only downside is the kids bed is basically a bench sofa that’s rock hard and not great to sleep on. There is a bus stop close by which takes you to the designer outlet on the outskirts of York in about 15minutes.
