Nora Buri Resort & Spa

Nice resort, polite staff. The resort is developed on a hillside therefore if you have a room up the hill get ready of a bit but nice exercise. The place looks very nice but a bit of attention to the details would make it gorgeous. The rooms are spacious, big bathrooms with shower and bathtub. The bad are very comfortable. Good breakfast. There are 2 pools located in 2 different spot of the resort. We stayed 2 times here with a short interval between the stays. The second time we stayed in a villa sea view, the villa has a good size private pool.

Me and my partner went and stayed here for 10 days recently these are my thoughts Great resort we think covid hit it hard this isn’t a 5 star resort anymore it’s a 4 but it is lovely I would stay again but food needs to Improve we toured Thailand for a month and stayed in 3 5 star hotels this I Would Say this wasn’t 5 star the site is also run down and in need of some TLC Staff - reception staff were a bit blunt but all Other staff were super friendly and helpful when you arrive they demand a credit card so make sure you have one or they advise they will cancel your booking which you have already paid for. All other staff are super friendly and really helpful Thai people are just delightful humans in general. I think this resort is maybe understaff as during our stay they had 2 weddings and service dropped for about 2-3 hours at a time. But cleaning staff and house keeping 10/10 , bar and waiting staff 10/10 reception 5 / 10 also the security guard at the front and golf buggy staff 10/10 Location - resort is beautiful I would recommend you get a sea view not a garden view the sea view is outstanding all units are built on a hill so you get a great ocean view and they pick you up and drop you off on golf buggies so it’s super easy to get around and apart from When they had wedding on you only waited 2-3 minutes - during weddings waited 15-20 minutes twice. Resort is 5 minutes fromAirport but you don’t get any noise fromAirport and is near town however it’s not really walkable as no footpath just a road with a few blind spots so not the safest. Taxi is alsoSuper expensive $15-20 aus to drive 5 minutes so if you want a resort you don’t leave this is perfect Otherwise it will cost you a fair bit to go out everyday. I must also note if you look at the promotional video it shows a beach … I don’t know where this is as it’s not at the resort the beach at the resort is a rocky beach that’s is not useable it’s rocky and has rubbish on it a lot of create editing was used to when making that video if you want to sit on a beach and relax this isn’t the resort for you 8/10 Facilities - 2 beautiful infinity pools looking over the ocean with swim up bars in lovely Condition absolutely stunning. Hotel Rooms are lovely have no real complaints bit dated but all facilities Worked well would Maybe recommend they upgrade the tv’s to smart tv’s but rooms were lovely aircon was good shower and bath all fantastic with beautiful balcony bed was comfy . Gym was basic but good facilities and steam room and sauna were good. The spa is world class would 100% recommend you book great value for money 8/10 Food Very little meat or protein in most servings Breakfast buffet has lots of options the food is average not outstanding not 5 star. 6/10 Thai restaurant is really good ate here most nights good value from money really tasty 8/10 Barge restaurant western food - average not amazing again all meat portions very small food average 6/10 Would have ate out of resort more if taxi’s didn’t cost as much overall 7 /10
