Definitely not to the standard of a 4 star Novotel hotel. Only the cleaning staff ever greeted me with a "bonjour" first while the front desk and restaurant/bar staff rarely acknowledged me. I noticed staff more friendly to other patrons and while I have my suspicions as to the reason, I won't speculate here. The room is not kept in good condition and was never vacuumed during my stay as hair that was not mine was on the floor for multiple days. For that matter, one side of the hotel faces the sun all day - my room was on that side and was hot even with the air-conditioning running on max. The little refrigerator in the room also produces a ridiculous amount of heat. Bathroom fixtures were water-damaged and not properly cleaned or maintained. The view from the room is unimpressive. Food and drink prices are obviously inflated for tourists and the room was also overpriced for the condition it was in. Gym equipment was less than basic with many machines damaged. I wished I read more reviews before booking here rather than choosing based on loyalty program. Huge mistake on my part.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, it did not meet the standards I would expect even from a 3-star hotel. The rooms were in need of maintenance, the elevators were in poor condition, and as a vegetarian, I found very limited breakfast options. Additionally, the coffee machine seemed outdated. Despite paying for breakfast, I decided not to have it at the hotel due to its poor quality. I will not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it as a 4-star property. It was my worst 4-star hotel experience.

The hotel is well equiped and rooms are comfortable. The esthetic is modern and clean. Pillows could be a bit harder. However, the variety of different food during breakfast is not homogeneous during the days we have been there, which is one of the main drawbacks. Elevators need a fix too!
