Booked a 1 night stay here as we needed something in the area just before Xmas. Very pleasantly surprised by the room which though small, had a very large and comfortable bed so we slept well. Breakfast was good with nice choices and decent tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and cheerful. Recommended

The perfect hotel for a relaxed trip to Newquay. After a long travel day we showed up at the hotel to a very warm welcome from lovely staff. We were initially going to head into town for the evening but the weather was bad so decided to stay for dinner at the hotel and we were so glad we did. The food in the bar is delicious. We had the fish and chips and the vegetable pasta and both loved our meals. Our server for dinner was so lovely and funny and really made us feel at home. We decided to have some cocktails in the bar and then sat outside with the beautiful fire pit with a stunning view overlooking the golf course, the town and the coastline. It was stunning. We came back for a second night on the Sunday evening and stayed in a balcony double room. The room was large, airy and very comfortable. We sat in the bar area on the couches drinking tea and reading magazines during the afternoon and then went and relaxed in our lovely room for the evening. Really recommend this lovely hotel for a quiet, relaxed and calm time in Newquay.

I only stayed the one night at Oceanside, but was very happy. The staff were really friendly, and enthusiastically welcomed my two greyhounds. Nice comfortable room, with a view of the beach. Literally the *only* tiny gripe I had was the coffee in the room (Nescafe sachets and uht milk). As there was a fridge in the room, a nice touch would have been fresh milk and 'proper coffee'

Beautiful, unique hotel with amazing service. Chose the double standard room which unfortunately didn't have a view but was very comfortable and clean and the outside terrace absolutely made up for it with amazing views. The food in the restaurant was beautiful accompanied by a lovely atmosphere and friendly, enthusiastic service. Breakfast was the same! I would like to make a point of saying that Violet at reception was so helpful and put in such efforts to meet my requests. She was so polite and lovely so thank you Violet! Will definitely be visiting again. P.s if you're a dog lover there's dogs everywhere! 😍 Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️
