The location is great for the National Museum, the Royal Palace and plenty of restaurants along the riverfront. Being down a short dead-end alley means that it was pretty quiet. The room was spacious, clean and reasonably well equipped. We found the bed comfortable, and it had clean cotton bedding, the AC was very quiet, but the fridge was a little noisy. The only downside to the room was that it was quite dark, especially the bathroom (needs brighter lamps). We didn’t use the rooftop pool, it’s not very large, but it looked OK for cooling off after a day’s sightseeing. We found the staff to be friendly, and they were helpful in booking our bus tickets to Kampot. We didn’t eat at the sister hotel, so can’t comment on the food offering. If you’re planning on a few days in Phnom Penh sightseeing, I’d recommend this place for its location and affordability.

Okay Palace Hotel is very conveniently located in an alley off the main road, and at a stone's throw distance from the National Museum on one side and Royal Palace/ Silver Palace on the other. We had booked a Family room, which was large with 2 Queen sized beds, a sofa and an attached balcony. The bathroom was also big. But for breakfast and swimming pool, we had to the nearby Okay Boutique Hotel. Also, the "hospitality" of the hotel staff was clearly missing, and they were very much stereotype.

Beware of tuk-tuk drivers that the hotel employs. They wear blue shirts and drive the tuk-tuks with “ok palace hotel” lettering. They always ask you if you need a tuk-tuk when you exit the hotel I needed to go 2km to the grocery store. I incorrectly assumed using the hotel's tuktuks was a good idea. The driver took me to the wrong grocery before taking to the correct one. Waited for me a few minutes then took me back to the hotel. I Was charged $5 for a short ride that costs 1$ each way on the ride share apps. Save yourself time and money and tell them no, use the apps.

It's called Okay and it literally is "okay. Location was in a dead end alley that no one really knew of. Service was barely helpful, usually if a place is okay but the service was great I'd overlook other things but their service was pretty useless. No one offered to help bring our bag upstairs or anything. The view from our room was nice and the room itself was pretty clean. I wouldn't stay here again though.

I never seen so much incopetence, the management in very bad. - the hotel area doesn't look clean - towels are very low quality and spayed with a lot of perfume, I could not use them. - breakfast was horrible, ants in the fruit area, the fruits were a bit altered. But the worst thing was that guests need to take off their shoes in that dirty restaurant, I've never seen anywhere something like this. The floors were super dirty and sticky and everyone with bare feet, walking through scraps of food, disgusting! Very poor choices of food and all very dirty. They had a lot of staff but they stayed at the entrace talking or on the phone. Very bad experience.🙁
