Hello my name is Fatima, I spent nearly two weeks at Okda hotel, let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences of my stay in Turkey. Mohamed, Mansour and Yassine were the best employees I have ever met. They are kind, polite and extremely helpful. As a US citizen I felt extremely safe at their hotel. Next time I come back to Istanbul, I will definitely chose Okda over and over again. The hotel is super clean and extremely quiet at night. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Cheers....

So I will just share my experience with okda hotel. The rooms are very clean and the people that work there are very nice. Muhammed Aslam always helped us and had us have a good experience. Also the connections to bus and metro is very good so you can go litteraly everywhere from here. Haghia Sophia and the blue Mosque are so near you can literally walk there dont even need bus or smth. All in all I‘m very happy with my stay here and can recommend it to everybody.

This is a very honest review of Okda hotel. I booked a four night stay at this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price and the reviews look pretty good. However, after I arrived, I soon realized that the reviews are probably fake. 1. The room was ok, but very small and the shower is so small, a medium sized lady would have to get in sideways to use it. 2. The location is horrible. Dirty area and very noisy. The area feels dangerous and dodgy. I actually booked a four night stay but only stayed for two. I ended up booking another hotel cause I couldn’t sleep due to the noise. It was my second night I didn’t sleep and woke up feeling very scared and anxious. I decided to leave and go to another hotel. I contacted the owner and he told me on the 19th of July that he would return my money for the two nights I didn’t stay. I chased it up a few times and the owner continued to tell me that he would return the money. He made a few excuses like.. Agoda has charged him so I even told him, no problem, you can take the money out that Agoda has charged you. He agreed I was waiting and waiting and it’s now been almost two weeks since, and I haven’t received a refund. I have been messaging the owner and he doesn’t respond. Empty promises of returning the money. He then today, 30 July, said that he isn’t able to return the money because it’s illegal and it’s too expensive for him. This hotel, besides being dodgy with money, has dangerous, creepy employees. I booked two nights at stayso, which was beautiful (highly recommend)… and one of the employees at Okda came to my hotel asking after me saying that “we are together” and “you said I’m nice”. Essentially he was stalking me. I told him to go away and honestly felt really scared after that. Do not book this hotel, the owner is a scam artist and lies about everything. The employees are creepy and dangerous and the area is horrible. People throw their rubbish down to the street from their upstairs apartment balcony, I saw a rock fall and someone’s dirty tissues. Dirty, disgusting place and dangerous.
