Wonderful bed and breakfast style hotel. Staff is so helpful and pleasant. The room was a good size. There is no view for us, but I can't speak of others. The complimentary breakfast is a "don't miss." Plenty of options. Then, the remaining cakes and pastries are available all day in the lounge. The location is great for walking. It is 2 blocks from the Arno River. Walk along the river to the Ponte Vecchio. Shopping is close by.

Lovely, lovely place! Very easy walk from Firenze station, in a nice quiet area but still really close and easy to access everything in the city. Very comfortable rooms, beautiful decor and sparkling clean. The hosts were lovely too and gave us great recommendations. A great find!

Wonderful boutique hotel on the other side of the river. It's around a 10min walk from the Firenze SMN station. Elegant Palazzo, with tastefully renovated rooms. Alberto our host was so helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

a great feel to this place - from the moment you enter the huge Palazzo gates and up in the small lift. Not swanky at all - quietly understated and nice rooms with character. a few minor niggles but really enjoyed it. location is great - just near one of the bridges but away from all the hustle and bustle. easy to walk to anywhere, and 5 minutes to Piazza Santo Spirito with lots of restaurants and lively in the evenings. best of all was Barbara (and Leonardo) on Reception (closes at 7pm and you're on your own) who were incredibly helpful with local and historical knowledge, booking anything you want and generally could not have put them selves out more to help -definitely A* for them

This place is truly a gem. It's a charming boutique B&B with surprisingly spacious rooms that are beautifully decorated. I really loved the idea of mixing the classic with the contemporary when it came to the decor. We were very happy with the king sized bed and spacious shower (rare in Italy). Very clean. The breakfast was yummy and grab-and-go style which fit our needs. The location is ideal because it is far enough away from the main touristy areas so that it is quiet, but is still only a short walk away from major attractions. We actually found we enjoyed exploring the streets near Oltrarno Splendid more than the touristy areas because we found some nearby restaurants and bakeries that were hidden gems. Most importantly, Davide and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and friendly, which was so important to us as Americans visiting Italy for the first time. They made our honeymoon special and even gifted us a complementary champagne. We will absolutely be coming back when we return to Florence. Thank you so much, Oltrarno Splendid!
