We had a very wonderful stay in Rio in Omar do Rio apartment. The region were the apartment located was very nice and safe. All shops, restaurants, pharmacies, bars and copacabana Beach were in a walkable distance. There were security in the building. The apartment itself was really beautiful 😄. We were 4 people and the apartment was soo spacious that everyone had his own bed, room and toilet/ shower. Apartment was nicely decorated and clean 👌. Kitchen was fully equipped for the necessary stuff that we used to prepare food. Thank you Omar do Rio, I highly recommend the apartment and we will love to stay in the same apartment in out next stay in Rio 😄. Best Regards Ahmed and the family

This was pure theft. Do not book with them. We booked this stay with Omar do Rio and on the day of check-in the host messaged us informing that there was a gas leak and Omar do Rio would not be able to provide accommodation. The host then proceeded to act in a shady/dubious manner asking that we cancel the reservation to get our money back. After we followed the Omar do Rio's instructions, they then began to say that they would only process a partial refund. None of our money was ever returned to us and we are still fighting to get our money back. DO NOT BOOK HERE

The apartment is a very convenient location to all the dining options in Leblon. We felt very safe and appreciated having a grocery store on the same block. Relatively quiet apartment, great front desk staff. The interior space is very comfortable for 2 couples and one additional adult or child. We were a couple with two adult children. There are three bedrooms. The twin room had a bed and a pull out trundle. A better pillow for the twin room is needed. Also better quality sheets would be nice. There are four toilets, and one bathroom has a bidet. There could have been more towels for each person. We stayed for 7 nights, so it would have been nice to have 2 bath towels for each person instead of one, and a hand towel for each person. All instructions were in Portuguese for the apartment, so I had to use Google translate to understand them to English. No instructions were available to use the Washer/Dryer. Thank you to our check in staff for showing us how to light the pilots on the stove/oven. The kitchen is a full size so cooking breakfast each morning was not a problem. I was surprised that no paper towels were available and no salt, pepper, etc. We have stayed in many apartment locations around the world that have these in the apartment for cooking. Any maintenance issues we had were address the same day. In conclusion, we would definitely stay at this location again.
