Due to an early flight and an unexpected but welcome private transfer from jet2, we arrived at midday and although check in wasn't until 3pm we were able to store our luggage securely and go and explore the local area. Phillipe on reception was so friendly and knowledgeable, he recommended places to go and even told us some history of the area, we couldn't have asked for a better welcome! He's an absolute credit to the hotel! The hotel is located very central to most things. A 5-10 minute will have you pretty much anywhere you want to be. Orange square and the old town, the beach, the marina, etc. The supermarket on the next street over has everything you could need and is reasonably priced. We had room 304, looking out over the front of the hotel and every evening the swifts came out and flew around for about an hour, which was lovely to watch while having a drink or 2 on the balcony. We also had a couple of hours of sun every morning on the balcony which was lovely. The room was nice and clean, pretty much what we expected. Our only issues were a lack of cooking utensils, it's not easy doing bacon and eggs for breakfast with no spatula/tongs etc! The tea cups were too small for our liking, however we bought a couple of souvenir mugs and used those, problem solved! The less said the better about the bathroom door, needless to say the bluetooth speaker came in very handy! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Phillipe and everyone at the Ona Marbella Inn for a lovely holiday.

Our room was big and comfortable, with the balcony. Though the door into the bathroom was quite odd but it wasn't too uncomfortable for us. The sea is like 10 minutes down. A big supermarket is located next to the hotel. There's a pool on the roof with a great view

Amazing hotel in great spot. Around 20min walk from bus station, 10mins to the beach, shopping centre in front of it. Loved the rooftop with swimming pool (not in use at the moment), plenty of sun beds. Rooms were great quality, more modern than we usually have on budget holidays. Bathroom had massive walk in shower, only awkward with bathroom door being tinted glass and having a gap in them, so need to have a tv on for soundproofing🤣 but interesting too as door could open both ways. You can change language on few tv channels and have shows in original English language. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic buffet type, but was happy to have hot option available (eggs, bacon, sausage on alternate days).

We booked a double room, which is exactly as it states on the website, it is a room with a small balcony and has a mini fridge. There are no kettle or other cooking facilities. The studio and one bedroom apartments do offer these facilities. Room was clean and cleaners came every day on our 5 days. We were 2 hours early and were offered early check in for 20 euro a service we were happy to pay for. The room we had was on the 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. You don't get much sun on these balconys, so if you want sun ask for a higher floor. The swimming pool is exactly like the pictures. Space for 16 beds, lovely area with Seaview to one side and mountain views to the other. There is also a small area just below the pool with seat and tables with a sea view. We were there is October, there is no bar area by the pool and the cafe area opened for breakfast. There is a supermarket and carrefour supermarket opposite the hotel. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the bus stops and 10 minutes to the beach area and the old town. Reception staff where friendly and very helpful.
