You can’t beat the location. Beautiful beach. Friendly staff. The rooms could use a little upkeep! The view from our room was nice. Tel Aviv is a busy and noisy city but this hotel is in a nice, central, safe location. Easy access all over Tel Aviv. Don’t miss the nearby Old City Jaffa.

Location- excellent Room condition- poor to adequate Room clean - sub-standard (sheets not changed during our stay, had to ask for in room coffee every day, need to ask for clean towels every day, shampoo and soap not refilled) General room condition - bad upkeep. shower unclean, bathroom door knob broken ( despite leaving it out for repair), entry door loose in the door frame (security issue) Staff- very pleasant Overall, over priced for the level service ( or lack of of service)

My partner and I have been staying in Israel for just over a week with family and thought we would have a little stay-cation for two nights at the Orchid Hotel in Tel Aviv. We arrived and were greeted by an extremely rude blonde lady at reception who gave us cards to our rooms with no directions on how to get there or any information on the pools, gym, breakfast or check out times. We eventually found our own way to our rooms and got ready to head down to the pool. We went to grab towels for the pool in which we supposedly needed towel cards which the rude blonde lady at reception also didn’t tell us about. Later on, we asked one of the girls who worked at the bar next to the pool to take a photo of us to which she just looked at us and shook her head and walked off. Additionally, we heard loud noises in the hall from 8am with someone knocking on the door asking for housekeeping at 8:30am which woke us up. Our bed and bathroom had little black hairs everywhere which was quite concerning as neither my partner or I have black hair. I would suggest hiring a friendly face at reception and overall friendly staff that smile to make your guests feel welcomed. The lifeguard at the pool was the only nice employee we came across during our stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone please look elsewhere there are plenty more hotels.

We stayed for 6 days/5 nights in this hotel. Location is good with lots of hipster bars and food in the area, even a McDonald's right beside it and the view of the beach across the road is amazing. We pre-booked for a room with 2 single beds but we were given a room with 1 queen bed so we had to go back to reception and request for the room we wanted. The room is fine but the pillows need to be updated/changed. There should be some adaptors available for guests who come from different countries so we can charge our phones. We had to go out and buy one. The bathroom was not very clean, a bit moldy and one time we arrived, the staff had left the cleaning materials in our bathroom. Breakfast was OK although it would have been nice to have more selection of hot food and fresh fruits. Staff are friendly but not so helpful. They need a course in customer service. Check out was quick and done in less than 5 minutes.
