My wife and my son stayed for two nights on the first of December at the time of entry and they left today, the 3rd of December. I did not expect the degree of rudeness in the management and employees of this hotel to open the room other than the usual morning cleaning time, My wife and son went out for two hours in the evening in the cafes near the hotel, and when they returned, they discovered that the entire amount of cash inside the safe deposit box in the room had been stolen, and only the passports remained. Upon speaking with the reception desk,They denied their knowledge of this matter and did not provide any cooperation or assistance, until it became clear that all the employees, including the receptionist, and the hotel owner may also have been injured in stealing from the guests and exploiting their circumstances.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It is 1 min from Metro and about 5 min walk from the Spice Market in walking distance from other attractions. The hotel is comfortable and well-priced. Breakfast is basic. There is a rooftop terrace with a pool, but it was not in use when we visited. They have a gym and Spa and indoor pool. Rooms are average and we had one with extra single bed. The view of our rooms was not great so speak to staff to move if necessary. One thing that we found during a month-long travel in Turkey is that the level of English proficiency for persons in the tourist trade is not great. Have Google Translate handy.

- Rude staff. - We booked two standard rooms with balcony and views to garden, city, landmark. For the first two nights they gave us claustrophobic rooms with no balcony or even windows to the outside. They were two very small rooms with a very small window to the hall. We complained but it took two whole days until they gave us the rooms we booked and we paid for. This was on Monday when we got the new rooms, when coincidently a lot of guests left the hotel. Clearly they overbooked. No refund or even an apology. Furthermore, they just charge us the full price for all nights as standard rooms with balcony!. Unbelievable. Raised a complaint. They gave us rooms inferior to what we booked, but they charged the full price of the superior rooms! - When we got to the hotel, at check in time, late in the night, they said they had only one room for the first night, and not the two that we booked, which were already confirmed. They split the group sending part of the group to other hotel we had no idea about. They didn't contact us in advance by any means to tell us, and we found it out just when we got at the hotel late in the night, and with no options but sending part of our group to another hotel. - One of the rooms started smelling very badly over the night. We had to move to another room, again, in the middle of the night, as the smelling was really bad and like something rotten. We had to try SIX rooms over the first two nights!. - They offer parking service, but It’s just a plot in front of the hotel, which only works between 8AM - 9PM, managed by a guy who literally blackmailed us if we didn't leave the car, and pay upfront, all nights with him. This happened after we told him we prefer to look for something else as the parking he offered was not flexible enough for our needs. You need to leave the keys of your car to the guy, which we did not want as was a rented car, and you can’t get your car in or out when you wish.

Area is great. Metro, restaurants, shopping and blue mosque within walking distance. Rooms and breakfast was disappointing. Stayed 10 nights in total. On first day I requested to change my room as there was one window higher than eye level with a view of outdoor aircon unit which makes a noise entire night. They changed my room to a better one with a window at day 5 as all rooms were fully booked. Triple superior rooms are smaller than other hotels and no balcony which I requested months before arrival. Water is complimentary on the first day only. Breakfast was bad. Same thing different day. Scrambled eggs taste like it's made with powder instead of real eggs. Shampoos, toilet paper and tea don't get replaced. On arrival at 4am the guy at reception who checked us in said we can come for breakfast after 10am as he would do us a favor as we traveled with 2 kids after a 15 hour flight and they wanted to sleep abit. At 10am we get to restaurant they refused to let us in and say it's closed..ended up buying breakfast at a restaurant. The rooftop was completely closed because of renovation. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

15 September 2023 Upon our arrival, we immediately voiced concerns about our room not having any windows. The lack of natural light and ventilation has made us feel claustrophobic, and the overall environment is very unsettling. We were advised to go back to reception after breakfast and they will be able to change our room so we had no choice but to stay in the rooms given. 16 September 2023 after breakfast we went to reception as advised and we were now told there are no rooms available and to come back tomorrow as a large group we’re checking out and so rooms will be available. So once again we spent another night in the unsettling conditions. 17 September 2023 we went back to reception after breakfast and this time we were told the rooms will be available at 14:00. I got to reception at 13:50 to be told no rooms were available because someone had given the room away. at this point I was very frustrated as we had to cancel our plans for the day and had packed our suitcases ready to move to a new room at 14:00. I voiced my concerns and that I was not happy with the service I was receiving. Furthermore, I had mentioned that my father was finding it challenging to sleep in these conditions. Unfortunately, his lack of rest led to him feeling drained and resulted in a fall due to low energy. This could have been a serious health hazard and is deeply concerning for our family. It has been three days since we first raised these concerns, and we feel like we are being messed around. We were under the impression that the hotel would cater to our needs, especially given the circumstances. The staff on reception have been very rude and intimidating two in particular Yasin and Charmane who repeatedly lied to us about being managers themselves when I asked to speak to a manager. We chose your hotel based on its reputation, and we genuinely hope our experience can be rectified immediately. We request an appropriate room change, as was promised on the first night. Please understand that our health and well-being are paramount. This was my parents first ever holiday and their experience so far has been nothing less than a nightmare.
