The bathroom was not 100 clean but the room was big and fully equipped with kitchen and appliances. The location is real close to Dean Village. The walk to the royal mile is very nice and to can get to the Edinburgh castle in 15-20 minutes walk. We loved to walk around this location...

NIGHTMARE HOTEL. We had booked a 4 night stay in what seemed to be a well located - good reputation apartment block. How wrong we were. We were awoken in the middle of the night (twice, one at 2am & another night at 4am) to banging on the front communal door and then somebody banging on our own front windows (right by our bed) as we were staying on the ground floor. This was utterly terrifying to say the least. Even if this was someone locked out- this didn’t matter- we called the out of hours emergency number and it went straight to voicemail multiple times, when speaking to the receptionist the next morning who was utterly helpless, she was more concerned that we had phoned 101 to get advice from The police rather than checking what had happened. The police actually attended the property to investigate after we called 999 due to this being multiple times that someone was banging on our windows trying to gain access into the building. They thought it became a concern for welfare. The room itself was very basic. A tap that you could almost pull off when trying to turn it on, a door that looked like it has been kicked in, very basic kitchen supplies - we ended up buying even kitchen spray and wipes for the surface as there was nothing to use - the fans for the bathroom and kitchen barely worked and the overall room was not worth the ridiculous amount of money we payed for it. We are utterly fed up and disappointed in this stay, we will NEVER be staying here again.

We had a lovely suite, couldnt fault our room, shower a bit small and water hot one minuite and cold the next. Be advised there is no lift, we had requested a lower floor room as i have a hip problem but was then put on top floor which was struggle as 6 flights up and they wouldnt change our room. Only gave 1 star for service as id just had shower and was just in a towel when cleaner walked in without knocking!

Absolute shambles. Nobody at desk and no instructions despite telling them I was going to arrive after 7pm. Couldn't accommodate to my request of a room with views and instead put us underground in a room with a door that lead outside but was locked shut and still allowed a cold breeze through. Told us it was a luxury suite but there was nowhere to sit, no sofa, no chairs. The mould on the shower head was growing mould. And there was creepy crawlies in the fridge. Receptionist had no interest in being helpful at all. The best thing about this place which wasn't even that great was probably the location.

Good location for West End. Kitchen was a bit shabby and had cheap cutlery with exactly 2 forks, 2 knives, 2 plates etc. Room was nice and big but I didn't understand why our room had 2 two seater sofas but no chest of drawers or a small dining table. Overall didn't feel like a quality experience. Beware that the on street parking is criminally expensive. It made my eyes water. Nearly six currency units per hour.
