This hotel exceeded all of our expectations!! We stayed at Parkview for 5 nights and had a great time. The room that we booked (Deluxe City View King) had plenty of space to put two large suitcases. There was an espresso coffee machine and stocked mini fridge which was complimentary. Really enjoyed the fact that the bathroom was spacious and had enough counter top space for two adults. Our booking included breakfast which was GREAT! There is a coffee machine, numerous pastries, hot buffet options, fresh cut fruit, and to order items that included eggs and traditional Taiwanese breakfast items. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. All of the people working at the front desk were so gracious, patient, and kind. We were so impressed and happy with our choice to stay here. The hotel is close to the metro station and the bus stop. There is also numerous convenience stores in short walking distance. The location was really convenient for such quality.

I loved this unique hotel, situated in the center of Taipei. The rooms are small yet clean. They have the fancy high-tech toilet that we Americans aren’t accustomed to. It was fun figuring out how to use all the features. I stayed in the Deluxe Room City view. If I’m being honest there was nothing special about the view. I can’t recall if it cost more than the other option but if you’re presented with a choice, just knowing you’re not missing much of you opt out. My most noteworthy comment about this place pertains to the staff. They are phenomenal - I liked them all! They’re are extremely friendly and will do whatever is in their power to make sure guest sure comfortable and have a nice time. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager and he’s such a delight! I recommend this place and will stay here next time I’m in Taipei.

Spacious room, nice design, facilities in room are great. Complimentary mini bar items every night, including a can of Taiwan beer! Location is great! About 5-8 mins walk to the MRT, and many good food options within walking distance. Close enough to city centre, yet not too crowded and noisy. Good service by staff. Breakfast spread was decent and tasty.

Full disclosure: aside from our unfortunate incident that happened to us, I would've given this hotel a 4.5 star review. At the end of our stay, the staff was so overzealous in trying to help us with our luggage - they carelessly broke my daughter's stroller - which severely affected our travels. The staff seemed very sorry about the incident but as there was no attempt rectify the situation by at least offering hotel credit or giving a discount for the late checkout fee that we paid - I am forced to leave a negative note and review here. Aside from our broken stroller and how that was handled; the staff was excellent otherwise. Helping us with ordering cab service, immaculate room service etc. I just wish they were less fussy when it came to luggage and did not rush, which ended up costing us a stroller and an inconvenient continuation of our travels. Rooms are excellent, they are not the largest, but have everything you may need and are very well laid out. Our travel crib fit inside our room without an issue. Excellent shower and bath. Nice working area with desk and chair. I wish the 'king' beds were real 'king' beds and not just two twins pushed together, but that is pretty common in Taiwan so it's not a big negative in my eyes. Hotel is pretty new and extremely clean. This was important to us as a lot of hotels in Taipei are very dated and show their age. Location is amazing, with walking distance to some of the best shopping in Taipei; metro and of course excellent food. Overall hotel is very comfortable and I can see it being a great choice for business travelers. A note about tea. Given that Taiwan has some of the best tea in the world, we were extremely disappointed to find that this hotel had nothing but Twinings tea in rooms and hotel restaurant. I can only assume Twinings is paying this hotel a lot of money to serve this poor excuse of a tea in place of some of the best tea in the world that Taiwan has to offer.
