Overall, this hotel is a good find, but you should be aware of the drawbacks. The rooms are very small, some don’t have windows, and the soundproofing is non-existent. BUT it’s in a great location. The nearby Peace Park is lovely, Taipei Main Station is within walking distance, and so is a great pepper bun shop. The shower had great water pressure and the staff were helpful.

Clean small room (standard one), the bathroom was big enough and the staff were all nice and helpful. We got new towels, slippers, water, amenities every day. They even changed our bedsheets, quiltcover/bedcover after 5 days. 11 min walk to Ximending. But prepared for the isolation is bad. You can hear your neighbours and the traffic outside. I just used earplugs and it worked well. They also only give you 1 room key and if you lose it you need to pay 300 TWD.

The hotel is good value for money, I stayed at a "Grand" Double with Window room. Located in between 3 MRT stations at about 5-11 mins from each. 11 mins to Ximen walking, which was handy. The room is dated but maintained clean with room service ready to clean it pretty much most of the day (every time I asked including late afternoon). The sofa is full of marks/stains though adding to the dated look. The hotel facilities are super basic, with a kitchen area to heat or eat your own food. Check in/out is encouraged to be done through the automated machine. Found the staff helpful but won't go out of their way at all. Was able to leave luggage at the reception on the last day after checking out. The view was basically the aircon units at the back of the building but at least does let some light in and nobody was looking into the room.

they offered me the last room of the corridors, at the beginning I didn't realize any thing wrong. I stay there for 2 nights, the 2nd night, around 2am, I heard a man was in my room, calling someone`s name, twice!!!! At that moment I couldn't move or even speak for about 2mins, I struggled to wake myself up. Since then I couldn't sleep that whole night. Later I ask all my Tai wan friends, seems like everyone believes I shouldn't take the room at the end of the corridor, coz it's always linked to paranormal event, and, everybody knows it. I don't know why they give me that room, as I am a female, travel alone.

Unpleasant stay due to poor customer service. I booked an extended stay (10+ nights) for a deluxe 3-person hotel. Rooms are very small, but they don't get cleaned until 5-7 pm (I usually come back around 5 until going back out around 7). Even though it's a no smoke hotel, people smoke in the bathroom, and the air gets circulated through the vents, and staff does nothing. Their beds are not comfy, pillows are low and holds no shape. My neck was sore everyday after sleeping. Called to ask for an extra pillow and they'll charge you for it. Same with towels. You will also hear the next room's tv, peoples voices, and showering noises so not for anyone that needs a quiet/low noise environment to sleep.Overall, their accommodations are awful, communication from staffs was condescending, making it an unpleasant stay. There are many other hotels in this area so please choose another place to stay if you want to enjoy your stay at Taipei!
