This is a deluxe double room on the 11th floor, room is spaces, 12th floor is the pool then rooftop bar. Front desk staffs are very nice. Such a shame for little things that could have made it better with minor changes, see below. Mattress is stiff/hard, AC makes loud noise from the condenser room which is 3 ft from the bed. Furnitures upstairs kept getting moved around. Breakfast ends at 10am, we got there at 8am and most of the hot foods were gone without refills while we were there about 25minutes. Including dinner rolls which I had asked if there were more and she said she’d check but never came back. Plenty of fresh fruits which I appreciated. I had 2 eggs & salad then had to leave for our tour. I usually don’t complain about wifi bc I get data but this was ridiculously slow or just stopped working.

We had a great stay at Katari, staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. They have a clean pool/sauna/steam room. It was very quiet when we were there. They also had a great included breakfast.

Doors to rooms don't close all the way. Luckily there is an alarm letting you know. Wouldn't take much to adjust spring on doors though so they close. I was on the 5th floor and could easily hear the street noise and restaurant next door. Pool however is lovely and refreshing, beautiful atmosphere. Breakfast isn't much to write home but fruit was good.

The worst experience and service I have never encountered in my life with front desk clerk trying to ripe me off last night. Checked on website before arrival there's available "Superior Double Room" saying "book now, pay later". But upon arrival, the front desk clerk tried to charge us 150% of our booked online room price and later on asked us to deposit 200% in order to stay. So we ended up trying to leave through elevator to their ground floor parking where we came up from, but the clerk said "this elevator is for customer only, and you are not our customer. You have to go through the front stairs to leave the building." I hope this hotel management group will look into this clerk behavior and provide future travelers with better accommodation experience where Phnom Penh is such a nice city to travel and stay but not my awful experience
