great location and clean rooms. i felt safe in the area and the room was nice. the low price gave me low expectations but piccolino had a really high standard. i will definitely come back next time i visit london

The room was quite large for London. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was a lot better than expected for central London. Super close to Paddington which made travelling very easy, I would absolutely stay here again.

Standard 2* hotel. Worth it for what you pay! Very good location (5 minutes from Paddington and right opposite Hyde/Kensington park). The bedroom is okay, nice decor and decent size. The bathroom is very small but okay for a few nights and they give you shampoo/body wash in small bottles. It is okay. The wifi is quite unstable so don’t rely on it but there is free wifi. They did include breakfast however we didn’t have it so cannot comment. The only issue is it is quite run down and old. The smell is overwhelming when you walk in as the carpet just smells quite gross and it is throughout the hotel. But this is something we could overlook since we paid quite cheap for the room and so expected some issues. It was decent for what you pay. They also allowed us to leave our baggage in the reception room and they kept it safe so this was a plus
