Very convenient location. Lake, city center and skyline are walking distance. Fair pricing compared to many other places. We booked a standard family room. The facilities were pretty average but everything was clean. The property we stayed was old and honestly didn’t like the stay. Staff was nice.

This lodge is right by the feet of the mountain, where you see the gondola passing by. Walking distance to downtown and certain activities. I wouldn't want to stay elsewhere. The staff were very nice. Especially the young lady, she has a great sense of humor and is funny. I booked 3 activities through them to my convenience. Depending on the buildings, I suppose, but it is an old and need renovation, which they are going to. I believe some work has been started. I stayed here 2 nights as I was to travel other parts of the island and booked my last night as well in the Queenstown area. I wish to stay here again if I go back to Queenstown, NZ. Love you lovely staff❤️

I have hiked thousands of miles and stayed in more hostels than I can remember and this is one of the worst. Laundry room filthy, other guests loud, kitchen messy and with hardly any cookware, dorm room cramped with no space to unpack, shower-and-toilet block also filthy (lump of used bandaids in the shower stall, auto lights switching off mid-shower) and requiring an outside walk from the dorm room, everything an up-charge. About the only good thing about this place is the location. Never have I wanted more to get out of town and back to the trail.

Stayed here during the Queenstown marathon weekend as it was a convenient location and reasonably priced for the area. Room and shared areas were basic and dated but clean. Luckily, other guests using this space were clean and respectful - I guess this may not ways be the case and could impact experience! Short walk into the town. Good for a no frills place to sleep while exploring Queenstown.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY - Rooms are not Hygiene Booked room from 24th-27th January 2024 Room is not sanitised properly. On 24th night I opened the room windows thought it will fix the issue but didn’t work. On 25th rang security number after 10 that room is not sanitised properly. Security is unable to help and advised to wash bed sheets in lounge. Security advised we dint have any option ni one is answering the phone call. another sleepless night had to cancel my activities due to sleepless nights. Below are the issues we are having in the room. - Feel itchy all over - bed sheets are not properly washed - hard to breathe in the room - cant sleep due to allergy in room and having rashes on the body which is affecting my daily activities
