Room was nice but resort overall is a bit dated. My biggest complaint is how dirty the beach was. There were crews kind-of tending to it but I wish they would pull the garbage out of the immediate area by the resort. The seaweed just collects trash, otherwise the beach is lovely. Glad they have towels everywhere. The restaurants were all fine but they get full quickly so go early to ensure a spot. With a few upgrades like fresh paint and new mattresses, the place could be 5 star.

Very beautiful resort, adult only. Really quiet and peaceful, but with boisterous fun areas too. You can find your niche. Never too busy, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely private beach with informal grill and bar on beach. Plenty of available chairs and grass umbrella shades on the beach in January. I couldn't find much to be disappointed in at this resort. Food looks amazing, great variety and styles, but is often not hot enough in the buffet. But absolutely sufficient and fine! Different restaurants are fresh cooked and don't need reservations. The informal dress code (none at the buffet) is relaxed and not strictly enforced if, for example, you have dressier shorts for men. Just look tidy and clean! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not all speak English or French well, which is fine! Everybody sort of manages with a few key words and gestures. Tipping is fine, but not required. A couple of dollars (US) most of the time is nice when you like the service. It is always gracefully appreciated. I would definitely come again. The swim out suites are the best for having your own patio. Private too. Rooms are cleaned and restocked every day. Concierge service is great, as is room service, even pool service outside your room, if you swim over to the other side! (See photo). Hope this helps someone who can't decide! 5 stars.

I enjoyed my time at this resort. Overall the resort seemed a bit dated. Service all over the resort was good, and the employees seemed friendly for the most part. The beach was kinda dirty with garbage and seaweed, but we walked down to the Sunset side of the resort, and it seemed to be a lot cleaner. We spent more $ for the best room, and both the hot tub and jacuzzi tub were none operational. DO NOT LOSE YOUR ROOM KEY. They will charge you $9 per key. They failed to tell us this at check in, but made sure to tell us this on the way out. If I were to visit again, I would probably stay on the Sunet side of the resort. The Yucatan is adults only, but is very small compared to the other Princess Resorts next door.

What can I say about this resort? A lot! The resort is beautiful and the rooms are nice but there are many issues. The bathtub is amazing, and the shower is huge. The swim out rooms have cold pools and they aren't private. There were fumes in my room, and when I attempted to get help, I was told that there weren't any fumes, despite two different people also smelling the fumes. After numerous attempts, my room was changed, but I had to deal with some attitude first. The food options are very scarce, but you can find something to eat if you're hungry. The beach bar had really good food. The main pool had good activities and the staff over there are all really nice! The shows were nice. Definitely go see one or two. The best nightlife is at the club on the family resort side. Overall, this was a nice trip after all of the issues were worked out. I won't return because the beach was way too rocky, and it wasn't what I've come to expect from an all-inclusive resort.

Perfect getaway for two. Great food, activities, service, decor. The decor and architecture is jaw dropping - it weaves modern, chic, natural elements and Mayan history. The grounds are beautiful. They’ve done a great job keeping the natural environment as part of the resort - lots of little animals come out in the evening! I came before Xmas. The pool was a little too chilly for Texans (not for Canadians). I highly recommend.
