The apartment was conveniently located across from the transit that takes you all over Florence. You can take the T2 train from the train/rail station 3 stops and be at the apartment. The staff was very polite and helpful. The apartments were quite large. It was a very quiet neighborhood and felt very safe. The bed was very firm, too firm for us. There was a small kitchenette that was great for heating up late night food. Depending on how long you plan to stay, the only downside was there was no bathroom counter space. We had to keep all our toiletries in the other room and go back and forth. There wasn’t even enough space for a hairbrush and toothbrush to be on the counter at the same time. A hanging bag would solve for this. We only stayed 2 nights so I didn’t mind but had we planned to stay any longer it would have been an inconvenience going back and forth for all the items. We had 2 apartments and both were very spacious and comfortable.

I would NEVER stay here again. During our entire Italy trip, this was the worst hotel we stayed in. The sheets were dirty and had hair on them. We called for new linen but was told the housekeeper was already gone for the day. It was 3pm. The desk guy did not believe us until we showed him how dirty it was. There were bedbug traps under the beds. After we checked the mattresses, they did not exhibit signs of the rodents. The beds are together instead of separated which would have been an easy fix if we had linen. The desk guy left our room then returned with the housekeeper! They brought new linen. The floors had peanuts on them and there were tons of mosquitoes in the room as well as the bathroom. We would wake up with bites and were nervous that they could have been bedbugs. We were woken up to bugs buzzing in our ears. We never received any fresh towels since we had arrived and our rooms were never cleaned. Thank God we only had to stay for 2 nights before leaving for the next city. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The nastiness of the desk guy matched the nastiness of the room.

Would not recommend! The room was spacious…that’s about the only good thing I can say about it. How does anyone expect to run a hotel without 24 hour desk service? You have to fumble with a confusing code/lock to even get in after 8pm. No turndown service. Bed was eerily low to the ground and no, it was not comfortable. Only had top sheets, no heavy blanket/comforter. Found bed bug traps under the mattress. The only curtain was sheer, not room darkening in the slightest. In fact we never experienced a room so incredibly bright. Air conditioning technically worked but never actually got cold. The walls were yellowed as if stained from cigarette smoke. Not someplace you want to spend any more time than you absolutely have to, and certainly not some place you want to sleep. For some reason there was a dishwasher? I would have traded the entire kitchen for a curtain that actually kept the light out. Zero stars.
