We only stayed at the portrait for one night prior to our early flight home the next day. I was tired from 3 weeks of exploring Italy and thought I’d just relax and catch an early nights sleep. But I was reinvigorated by the portrait and its staff. It’s centrally located right next to the Spanish steps and right in the heart of the shopping district. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. I want to give a special shout out to 3 staff in particular: - Florentina who helped us get settled and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. - Riccardo at the terrace bar who made me my new favorite drink - the Martinette - AND taught me how to make it - Alexis at the terrace bar who was very friendly and taught me the secrets to making a great carbonara. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They are partnered with Ferragamo so we had a ton of Ferragamo goodies available to us during our stay. The terrace bar view is awesome! Lastly, they had all the little details that make you feel pampered during your stay. 5/5 would def stay again next time we hit Rome.
