Very conveniently located to explore the old town, lots of good restaurants around but also very touristy and pretty loud at night, if you mind that. Staff were flexible and helpful. We had to change rooms twice for a 4 night stay and the quality varied a lot. The hostel is a little run down. Beware of the room with the two single beds. Would stay again in the double room with the painted ceiling.

We had a rocky start for this hotel even before we got here with the change of dates (the person managing the booking was quite cranky). But it ended very positively. Rooms The rooms are very nice and have a very vintage vibe. Ornate wooden furniture. A bit musty when we first entered. Opening the windows helped immediately. Very clean rooms and clean linen. Clean bath and toilet. Amenities Bath towels, face towels and bath mat provided. No toothpaste. Basic shower gel and shampoo sachet. Carry your own. Iron for clothes provided on request. Property There's no elevator and the spiral staircase is quite narrow. Solo travellers beware of heavy luggage. There's no one to help either. Usually there's only one staff member at the reception from 09-2100. Location Right in the middle of the centre of Old Town. So the location is the highlight of the property. One won't miss the lack of any breakfast or food options as there's plenty in the area.

Spent 2 nights there in a twin bedroom and private bathrooms, the stay was very pleasant. The hostel is ideally placed in the old town, rooms are clean, bed comfortable, there was no breakfast because of pandemic, but you can easily find breakfast in the area. We had a late night commutation and big luggages, the receptionist was very accomodating to keep our bags. The only things that might be improved are the curtains, they don't block the sunlight enough if you are sensible like my friend.
