Excellent service and friendly staff. Very clean basic room, served my purpose overnight. I was in a basement bedroom, next to the plant room, and above the Mersey Rail underground line, and could hear the trains passing under the room. Not a good night sleep, unfortunately, sounds of banging doors, people talking, and noise from the plant room. Basic breakfast, no other food facilities available on site. I had to go out to eat, during the day and evening.

Spent 3 nights here recently. Extremely welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble, a minor problem with sink was immediately put right. Can't fault staff. Location is brilliant for all the sight seeing facilities. Definitely going to re-book for a future visit.

The hotel was alright, I stayed one night. The bed was comfortable, but there was someone's lipstick on my bed sheet.. I found the location quite restless and a little bit scary on a Saturday night, for a woman travelling alone.
