Picked because of location. Rooms and entire hotel is so rundown, filthy. Room had two rat traps hidden in it - not mousetraps. Floors were badly stained. Walls had indentations. Doors to rooms filthy. Everything needed cleaning and painting. No plate on electrical for a/c., etc. Do not stay here! Beds were comfortable. But the thought of rat traps setup in the room kept me awake most of the night.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!! All caps for a reason. Look at the pictures. There is puke or poop down the toilet. The walls are damaged, the baseboards are falling off, the bathroom door doesn’t lock, the sink is cracked in half, the toilet is loose on the floor, there is mold in the bath tub. There APPEARS to be piss in the refrigerator !!! The lady at the desk was nice but a warning about staying in a filthy room would have been appreciated. There are water stains everywhere. All of the doors have damage to them like someone is trying to break in. The SMELL!!!!!! Is it poop? Smoke? Weed? A dead body? I don’t know but it’s horrific!!! I would complain to the desk, but what’s it going to change. Thank god we’re here for one night. This place needs to be inspected by the city and the health and safety person because it’s flipping nasty!!!! AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! The manager responded to this review. They stated that this should be taken as an "Isolated incident". If you read these reviews, this is NOT an Isolated incident. This is the STANDARD for this hotel. Avoid at all costs.

The rooms are clean enough. Comfortable clean bed. Carpets could use a deep cleaning or replaced. Outside seating on the second floor was appreciated. Nice to sit and people watch. The location is excellent for visiting all the sites in the historic district. Service was friendly and efficient.
