THIS IS HOME AWAY FROM HOME! THIS IS THE COOLEST HOTEL WE'VE EVER STAYED IN. 145$ a night and it has such a cool amazing history!! We loved it so much!! AND THE BEDS!! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT BRAND OF BED THESE ARE.. The bathrooms are perfect. They have a towel warmer. They will call a taxi for you.. such kind people. Love this beautiful, UNIQUE, hotel.

Lovely modernist hotel right next to Artis Zoo. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and clean - we had the quad room with four singles. Nice bathroom, although floors a bit slippery. Nice quiet terrace overlooking the back of the building. Breakfast fine - nice continental selection. Perfect location for the Zoo and a quick tram ride into Central Amsterdam.

Budget minded hotel done right. Rooms are small but well appointed with small amenities. In room Nespresso, there is a clothesrod, shelf, in room safe, refrigerator but no drawers; luggage storage available on first floor. The bathroom is nice with a modern design with a rain shower head and spray wand, a particularly nice touch is the towel warmers which can double as jean warmers. Housekeeping was good, the available breakfast is standard euro with fresh fruit and vegetables, yogurt cereal, espresso machine, pastries, bread, and cheese and cold meats. All staff so far have been very attentive and helpful. Also located right next to the zoo and botanical gardens if you choose to have a slow day.

I don't know what would make Quentin Zoo Hotel a 4 star hotel, but in my experience it was far off it. When you arrive you'll be greeted with a little box the reception is in which is the first warning sign. Staff was friendly, though. The rooms are ok - I expected it to be small which it was, but the photos make it seem a lot more modern than it actually was. The doors need to be slammed shut loudly to actually close, which means it's loud. We also had issues with a loud TV and weed being smoked by a neighbouring room. Overall it was an alright place to stay for a few days, but not for the price. The location is pretty decent - a few bars (unfortunately also loud) and restaurants nearby and walking distance to most places if you don't mind a bit of walking, otherwise a team stop right outside, although we didn't need it.

Our second time staying at this place due to the great location in the plantage/artis area of Amsterdam. Right outside the tram station, quick and easy to get to the centre or wherever you need to be. The rooms are good, perfect for a short stay but would defiantly advise getting a upgrade if your staying longer than a weekend. The first time we stayed service was amazing and on point, although the second time we came we was greeted by a blonde lady with very little customer service skills, it was like she didn't want to be there and didn't really want to help, defiantly needs to learn how to smile and get some customer service training. As always, Amine if I have his name correct was amazing, always a pleasure to see, lovely big smile and couldn't be more helpful if he tried! He's an absolutely pleasure to your establishment, thank you Q zoo we will be back 💗🤌🏻
