Very comfortable hotel. Nicely located and had a lot of malls in the vicinity. The hotel is nicely located with a supermarket within a few meters and has a few restaurants around. The staff is very helpful whether reception or the housekeeping. Breakfast is good, rooms were clean and comfortable bed. The only negative was that our room was facing the front side, and the rooms were not soundproofed. Hence, it was a little noisy. The exhaust in the washrooms did not work .

I strongly advise against checking in without first thoroughly inspecting the hotel premises (rooms). Never place blind trust in the images you encounter; unfortunately, I made an upfront payment for a three-night stay without the chance to preview the rooms. The apartments offered here are notably compact, making them unsuitable for families larger than three individuals. While the value proposition seems commendable and the location is quite appealing, it's crucial to note that this establishment is not ideal for accommodating families.

😍 Alright, listen up, fellow travelers. If you're looking for a hotel in Muscat with a side of hide-and-seek and a pinch of "are we lost in Narnia?", then strap in, because I'm about to tell you about my "delightful" (read: teeth-clenchingly frustrating) experience at a certain nameless establishment (let's call it "The Enigma" for now). First off, finding this place was like trying to track down a rogue camel in the desert. The address? Panaroma Mall. Yeah, good luck with that. There were about as many signs pointing to The Enigma as there were palm trees with disco balls (seriously, not one!). We finally stumbled upon it thanks to a kind soul who pointed us towards the Gloria Jeans coffee shop - apparently, The Enigma is its shy, reclusive cousin living in the basement. Parking? Public and free, which is basically like finding a unicorn wearing Crocs at a Lulu hypermarket sale. No fancy valet here, just park it yourself and pray you don't get abducted by aliens (the place is THAT mysterious). But hey, let's talk about the good stuff! The front desk lady was an absolute gem. Upgraded our room to an apartment? More like waved a magic wand and transformed our shoebox into a palace (well, a compact, clean palace with all the family-friendly essentials). Just don't ask about the balcony views - let's just say they were "industrial chic" with a generous helping of air conditioning units. Speaking of food, vegetarian friends, brace yourselves. We were all set to feast at the legendary Vasantha Bhavan, only to discover it was as dead as disco. So much for our dosa dreams. But hey, the NMC hospital is nearby, so you can always pop in for a quick IV drip of hummus if things get desperate. Now, location? That, my friends, is where The Enigma truly shines. It's like the Beyonce of budget hotels, surrounded by all the glitz and glam of mega malls like the Mall of Oman, Grand Mall, and Avenue Malls. Basically, you're a stone's throw away from retail therapy and overpriced lattes. Oh, and the NMC hospital is there too, just in case that post-mall sugar crash hits you a little too hard. So, would I recommend The Enigma? Well, if you're a fan of scavenger hunts, enjoy the thrill of the unknown, and have a deep appreciation for Gloria Jeans coffee shops, then by all means, book your stay! Just remember, pack your sense of humor, a GPS with a built-in genie, and maybe some snacks (because let's face it, vegetarian options are as rare as decent Wi-Fi in this place). Overall, The Enigma was an experience. Not always a good one, mind you, but definitely one I won't forget. Just like that time I accidentally ate camel burger (true story, Muscat is wild). So, if you're looking for a hotel that's equal parts confusing and oddly charming, The Enigma might just be your cup of chai (or should I say, mystery latte?). Just don't blame me if you get lost trying to find it.
