Rooms were okay. Breakfast was passable. Lift was rusted, tiny, and broken half the time (staying on the fourth floor). Wifi was unreliable at best. Outside the building you will encounter human faeces, urine, broken glass and many undesirable people. This place is not a hotel as advertised. For what you pay it is not even close to worth it. Would strongly recommend against staying here, or anywhere in the city.

We stayed here for a week as a short break - staff were very helpful and friendly - the place is spotless, always clean, breakfast is great - simple but effective, location is great. Naples is not a large city, but it has great public transport that is easy to use and cheap. Re Diego, based in Piazza Garibaldi, is 50m from Naples central train station - makes getting anywhere very easy. If you have a room at the front of the building - views of Vesuvius are great - unless the cloud gods role in and hide the edifice - you look across Piazza Garibaldi and overall the views are good - Italians seem to like beeping their car horns, so close your balcony door for quiet and at night - A/C is brilliant so no overheating.
