Have stayed here 3 times and it’s excellent value. $20 US a night is great value for accommodation right in the middle of all the action & directly across the road from the famous Pub Street in Siem Reap. The hotel does have a feel like it’s just hanging on the verge of falling into disrepair (Although, it felt like this on my first visit in 2015 too) but it’s kept clean enough, everything works and the pool is kept pristine. Water in it literally tastes fresh and untreated (although it must be). If you want great value for money and want a hotel that’s good enough without being great, stay here…

English readers, tourists, fellow Cambodian’s beware. I will say that the staff was great and very helpful, it’s a shame the hotel is poorly managed. As of 6/30/23, my mom, and family friend and family friend’s mother from florida all had a cockroach/insect infestation. All over the bathroom in my mothers first room, after asking for a new room for her, I quickly found a massive cockroach that scurried out of the fridge and I took the initiative to just bring her to a new hotel. My family friend and his mother quickly changed hotels which was 100% the right move. The airconditioning isnt bad, shower is nice. I have not tried the food, and the stairs can be a little dangerous as they aren’t long, hallways and main entrance is not air conditioned. Wifi is alright. There is a NO refund policy after a certain amount of hours which I understand but with these circumstances is kind of ridiculous. So please come if you don’t mind some bugs and/or critters. Beware noisy. Our hot water heater didn't work. It had power but no warm water. Only a problem for a night shower. The wifi never worked. We should have complained on day 1 of our 3 day stay. The first night a Tuesday the pub street deep bass sounds stopped at 1 pm. But Wed they went past 4am and then a few crazy partiers used the drink trucks directly in front of the hotel. The music wasn't nighclub loud but closer and you could here it in the back rooms like ours. We were leaving at 5 am to see sunrise at Angor Wat. Why are a few early morning revelers allowed to disturb the area? Because Cambodia is so poor they do everything to beg or take your money. Sad really. The nightclubs and bars on pub street were all almost empty at 11 pm. I would hate to imagine the noise if the bars had the customers that they had 5 years ago.
