Set in a safe residential area a few minutes walk from Benfica station, which goes north to Sintra or south to Rossio. Great local eating places close by. Clean rooms with plain but thoughtful furnishings. Good kitchen facilities and shared bathrooms regularly cleaned. We have booked to return.

We stayed here for a few nights. The room was good size and had all you would need from an guesthy. The kitchen is shared with the other room but that wasn't a problem. There is some black mold but I think that is inevitable in this climate with the ocean nearby. The host is very nice and gave us some tips for what to see and communicated very well. The guesthouse is close to the Benfica train station with easy access to the city center, airport and Sintra. There is also a bus stop nearby that can take you to Belém and Cascais.

The place, despite being located in a neighborhood of social housing, was quite easy to access and quiet at night. However, the hostess was not very friendly. Furthermore, the room did not have ventilation and had a very strong musty smell, due to the humidity. The cleanliness of the room was good, but the bathroom had a lot of hair stuck to the shower stall.
